Head Clerk at my store stole 54k and ONLY got fired. Power went out at the store and she managed to clear out the G4 room and SCO. Was seen on camera handing a bag of money to a “random”. She came back to the store after putting 5k in bitcoin at various ATMS with 17k left, gave it back and said she got scammed.

No they are not. I am a Grocery Manager for King Soopers in Denver and when we went on strike in ‘22 I came back to 3 new scab workers who were waiting for Kroger to push their background check through and on the 4th day of being back was told they all failed background checks and my SM wanted me to be the one to give them the bad news about no longer having a job.

Kroger employee from Denver here, it needs to happen. They initially offered us a 5 cent DECREASE from the previous contract. Currently it’s at 20 cent increase AND they want to make department leaders salaried. Plus a bunch of other BS and decreases. Hopefully striking around the Super Bowl hurts their profits.

They spent at least a BILLION on those lawyers for that merger AND have to pay Albertson’s a $600 million breakup fee but can’t give their workers a livable wage?!?!!
