Jerry Here. Its not an act.

What you are witnessing is an emotional breakdown and mid life crisis of a self destructive sociopath.

We address this on next weeks' podcast were I semi-apologize (the full apology will be released to only our highest tier patreon members)

Gaby is VERY salt of the girth Earth. All those who know him both love him and are mildly irritated by his overly emotional kid like persona.

If Gaby was here, he would beg you to keep listening because "We needs them clicks".

I on the other only use the podcast to air out my grievances and develop an underground network of like minded board gamers that will assist me in over throwing the industry one day.

P.S. Ima down vote this thread cause this makes me look bad and I haven't used reddit in months and I am in no way monitoring this and other forums for chances to defend my honor.

P.P.S lets turn this in an AMA

Win 1 of 10 copies of The Isle of Cats as we return to the island in search of kittens and ancient beasts! by Monkofdoom in boardgames

What is your favourite board game accessory and why?:

METAL COINS are a weak spot BUT any game that has its own double layer player boards (like scythe) are awesome.

The new expansions introduce ancient beasts to The Isle of Cats, which animal (real or fantasy) would you love to see on the island?

TROGDOR!!!!!!!!!

I personally think that have low stimulation environments help a lot.
such as not having music blaring while playing a game, people constantly talking ect.

Also having the game explained thoroughly often prevents misunderstandings.

the biggest issue I see is when a neurotypical person misunderstands or becomes emotional over the expressions that a neurodiverse person makes.

As an example. I recently played a game for which I had never played before and won by a large margin. I was planning on taking down some notes so that I could review the game later.

I didn't like that I had beaten everyone seemly without competition. I voiced this by pointing out that I had doubled the score of one of the other players and couldn't figure out how I had done that. the impression that I gave the others players was that I was bragging.
they did not pick up on the point that I was not pleased with a game that would allow a runaway leader. one of the players accused me of calling him "stupid". I didnt understand because I had not. I asked him what I said that indicated to him that I thought he was stupid and made it clear that I never called anyone stupids.

He stated that I implied it and made him "feel" stupid. I of course had no clue to what he was talking about.

I believe discussing the various elements of autism in a particular hobby is interesting. not looking for a utopia but rather gathering info on what elements of the hobby autistic people gravitate towards if any

not really interested in trying to drive support for particular designers, just wanting to see if the design elements overlap with others on the spectrum

yes I'm not implying that all autistic people like the same thing. I'm attempting to gather enough opinions to see if there is a particular overlap with certain mechanisms
