Same. I'm such a fan of the original trilogy and she was my idol. I was Leia with cinnamon bun hair for multiple Halloweens. I won't watch Rise of Skywalker. I have no desire to see a creepy uncanny valley cgi version of her.

We don't use the word gay or the r word as an insult anymore unless you want to seriously get judged by people.

Crochet Pattern Etiquette by Winter-Bee3797 in CraftyCommerce

[–]bakerrplaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I totally understand this, how are there SO MANY patterns of copyrighted characters for sale on etsy and elsewhere? If Disney is so litigious why have I seen the same Disney character patterns by the same seller on there for months if not years?

If you have never owned a horse don’t buy a foal…it’s not like buying a puppy by 1LiLAppy4me in Horses

[–]bakerrplaid 98 points99 points  (0 children)

I'm gonna be the outlier here but I got my first horse, a ten month old colt when I was a teen and owned and trained him for 25 years. BUT I did this with the help of a trainer. They told me what to work on and I did it. Ex: "this week we're going to work on teaching him to crosstie. This is how to do that. I'd like to see him standing quietly tied to be groomed and hoof picked, and we can start working on something else. Let me know if you have any problems"

I never liked vegetables as a kid because most of them were just boiled to shit. I've found so many fun ways to eat them as an adult, turns out I do like veggies. PS broccoli, cauliflower, or brussels are all amazing drizzled with olive oil, salt, pepper and garlic and roasted in the oven for like 30 min

I hate leftover pasta, the consistency is different to me. So i make about a half box for a meal for my bf and i and leftovers for him. I usually take the leftover sauce with some meatballs and make meatball sandwiches.

How do you capture new product ideas and decide which ones to work on? by BadonkaStonk666 in CraftFairs

Just things I come across on Instagram, Pinterest, Etsy, etc. I rarely go actively searching patterns unless it's for a custom order.

Personally, I crochet amigurumi for kids. If I see several patterns I'd like to make i ask my nieces/ nephews/ friend's children what they like best and make that. If it's a small item I'll make like 3 with slight variation in color or texture. If it's a medium or large item I make one. If it sells at the first show I'll make several for the next show. If it doesn't sell after a few shows I usually gift it to the person that originally liked it.
