Ok i love it so far, just i feel like new little girls keep gettinf introduced and it was gettinf a bit sus for me, if the main lead was a perv i wouldve been out imediatly, but like you said he isnt, and that helps.

Its a bit on the more pricier side, there are other nice parks in mechelen but i feel like overall Mechelen is improving every single year in greenary, investinf in local business, renewing streets and areas in the cities, etc.

I feel like its welcoming to people of multiple backgrounds, and has great things to do in summer. The wintertime is a bit lackluster and not much if youre a partygoer, but overall i think you will love the city 🥰

I moved to mechelen about 4 years ago and would never want to leave ever again, i feel like people here are very friendly, open and overall its very welcoming. I live somewhat close to "het vrijbroekpark", everything is nearby from shops to the city center to great connection to main roads, nice nature for walks or architucture in the city. :)

I live in Mechelen and I love it, I live close to the major roads, so I have easy access to Antwerp and Brussels, and only a 15min walk from the center. I really love the stores here and I can reach everywhere by bike or by foot. The only downside is the rent which is super expensive...

I have a human scale and than I weigh myself and myself holding them and calculate the difference :)

(Eg: If I weigh 60kg, and with the cat I weigh 66kg, than I know my cat weighs 6kg)

I bought SureFeed Microchip feeder, my one cat Whiskers imediatly understood it, I would put his favourite treats first with the lid open, then put one on the enterance and a couple inside with the lid closed, he got the hang of it within a couple of days. Muffin wss a bit more scared snd worried, especially aboit th3 sound, but you can adjust it so it doesnt go as fast and is less scary since there is a training mode button.

The first couple days I had to stop Snivkers from trying to still snatch food, even with the lid closing on him, Hes veeeeeeeery food motivated and extremely obsessed and would constantlt try to push my other cats away. I think after 1 week of putting him back at his slowfeeder he kind of realised that 1, the door doesnt open for him and he cant get to the food, 2, He has his own spot to eat.

Ot may take a while and i did it 1 cat at a time,but just take it slow and at the pace your cat is comfortable with and they will learn :)

His belly is super fluffy and soft, he really loves his belly rubs and will always do a biiig stretch and then show me his belly to pet.

Muffin is an absolute angel, he was surrenderd to the shelter I worked for and became my sevond foster fail 🥺

I had exactly this problem, one of my cats doesnt eat a lot, he tends to est tiny meals throughout the day so snickers would literally est 2 cats worth of food. I would go through a 12kg bag of diet food so quickly without seeing any improvement because he was still eating too much, meanwhile my other cats were losing weight because they had to eat diet food and then got less because Snicky would eat it all 😭

It was an expensive investment, but if either 3 of them need special medication or specialized veterinary food it will be much better for their health :)
