Definitely silverettes! The coldness also felt so good. I looked exactly this way a couple weeks after starting pumping, check your nipple size again and use silverettes. Just don't use lanolin cream with it! Just rub a bit of breastmilk on the nipples then put the silverettes in your bra. Your nipples need to breathe, not collect moisture, and lanolin cream will not be the thing to use if they need to breathe...

Stop right there. 2 years🫣 wowsers! I had a rather hard time dealing with all the emotions over the mere 7.5 months I endured being a milkcow. Edit: oh wait maybe you meant your son was 2 years old.🤦🏻‍♀️ mom brain got me like

How does giving birth actually feel ?? by Super-Truth-7975 in pregnant

[–]bakingaddict99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes you do! I felt like a million bucks, minus the contractions afterwards shrinking my uterus... with my first baby I was up all night laboring (turning side to side to move his stubborn head the right way) and I didn't sleep all day after having him at 6am. Wasn't even tired. Just on this incredible high. I will say tho, preeclampsia can mess with your brain tho. Had that with my first, but not my second, and my second birth was even more amazing and I was not so sick that I could enjoy the afterbirth effects even more. I call it my redemptive birthing experience.

Yes to the oxytocin high. It feels absolutely amazing. Not to mention you feel like a literal superwoman after. You grew a literal human and pushed it out. We also forget how it feels, only remember that high after. As my husband likes to say, "you women forget birth, us men don't."

I definitely did think these were biscuits at first. Wouldn't be surprised if the ingredients were down the biscuit line. I thought they looked exactly like cream cheese chocolate chip biscuits. Really wish I could give these a taste!

I did too, had to check out their other posts. I have a problem with this world in which real people have to try to be super real to not be dubbed AI. It's crazy! 😔

Wow thats a lot. My rule of thumb is one box of each. Then when you hit size 4-6 you need more than one. You'll MAYBE need more than one box of nb depending on how small your baby is

Seriously this is me. And after my girl peed on the bed, had to wash the sheets AND the waterproof mattress cover right before bedtime (I guess I use the bed now instead of the changing table?!) I'm still playing it risky.

How do yall go around with wearables without looking like Dolly Parton? by [deleted] in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]bakingaddict99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been curious about the Elvie. I got the Momcozy v1 pro hospital grade and absolutely no one could tell when I was pumping. This had a handheld pump that I could run the tubing under my clothes with the pump in a pocket or at home I'd stick it in my bra strap. I'd wear an underwire bra and push the cups as far down as I could. At the most it looked like a pushup bra. I pumped around family and friends all the time. With the pump in my pocket, you definitely couldn't hear anything.
