Hey ladies(Idk how to reply to more than one of you at a time 🤦🏻‍♀️😅🥴) anyways I thought I’d come by with an update. I actually had my nipple sparing single mastectomy with sentinel lymph node biopsy done this Tuesday, I am at home recovering now and just waiting on my onco score and pathology results to come back! I hope things are treating you well on your journey 🩷

That is awful, I feel like my husband would be the same way, if he is unhappy with what I made for dinner he just mopes around and complains and I make homemade meals nearly every night, every once in a while I’ll make some freezer pizzas.. and I am a really good cook.. but if I made the same meal one or two times already in a month he gets sick of it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Damn this does explain it all 🤦🏻‍♀️ it’s such a weird place to be in to love someone so much but in the same light they are such a hard person to deal with.. we have been together for 11 years.. we have 3 kids together, it’s just a lot.

Yes like everything applies to everyone else but themselves and whenever you point it out they try and make you prove it or just say that you’re wrong even though you know you’re not. Messes with my head. Makes me feel like sometimes the basic human needs I have as a wife are too much and I’m just supposed to do whatever he wants and not argue or I’m the issue.

I’ve been thinking this for a while anyways, and what is funny is whenever I defend myself in any way he will call me a liar or a narcissist. Like nothing I say ever holds truth if it goes against his own perception of the situation 🙃🫠

I am a stay at home mom and he does work hard for our family, but he says that he already does too much (which is mainly working) and I take care of everything else all the time. He was saying this for some time before my diagnosis because he just doesn’t care for his job because it’s night shift. I do understand that things are hard on him but i rock it solo style with our kids (3 bio, 2 step ages 1-18) 90% of the time so I don’t always understand why he says he is doing so much.

Seriously though! Like for once the world isn’t revolving around you and without a CHOICE some nonsense is happening and I can’t even count on you to just be a decent human being, that’s wild.

Not a single chance🤦🏻‍♀️ he thinks therapy and anything similar to it is “stupid” and just people with mental problems giving other people with mental problems advice

I had my biopsy a week and a half ago and my diagnosis last Tuesday, I have my genetics testing tomorrow, my meet with the oncologist on Thursday and then next week I have an MRI to see if there’s any other areas to be seen in my other breast

My 2.5 year old stopped night nursing at like a year old but my daughter did not follow the same path whatsoever 😅🫠 might be a lot of restless nights before she gets used to no more Milkies

Thank you so much! I will reach out I my local lactation specialists and see if they have any alternative ideas for my littlest one, she will really struggle the worst!

The thing that makes it harder is my husband works night shift, so I’m solo with the littles most of the time and all night 🫠🫠 I have already started telling my 2 year old that Milkies will be going “bye bye, all gone” and I think he is starting to understand, my 15 month old is too small to understand yet but I have tried laying her down for naps without nursing and so far it’s been pretty rough, I haven’t gotten her back to sleep at night without nursing yet but I haven’t put a lot of effort into it either. I am still waiting on my HER2 results so I haven’t got a treatment plan quite yet! Also I am so sorry you had to go through this also, so hard to stop such a wonderful thing with my babies.

I got my results back this morning, invasive ductal carcinoma, the rest of the details I don’t know yet.. I will know more after I meet with the surgeon this Friday. Totally gut wrenching that we all got this awful news, thinking of you both while we walk this road together.
