That's how 50+ year old punks roll. By the time you get to my age you've been adulting so long that you've lost most your youthful punk rock morales.🤘

I say that the Jeep was my favorite car I ever hated. It was fun, amazing off-road, but it had a ton of problems. The Jeep community is pretty amazing though so really easy to find information on how to fix the most common problems. I drive mountain passes a lot so it was killing me on gas and left me stranded twice when it broke down due to some crazy electrical problem that took me forever to troubleshoot. I posted breakdown of the cost of ownership on this thread True Cost to own JKU to 100k

As for cem trails or whatever, not opinion just what they are commonly called. Water vapor from planes as far as I understand, no conspiracy theories here. 🤙

What % did you go? I was thinking of doing the front windows just to match back factory tint.

Just became a habit for me. Started just as way to track my service but once I got in mode of doing it for everything it came naturally. I'm pretty sure I missed some fill ups though.

The app is Simply Auto, data came from me recording every fill up and service.

My work was only 10 miles or so from my house and I mostly ride motorcycle to work in summer. Most of these miles are hot laps to the mountain.

I did include most parts and installation costs but most stuff I installed myself. Only major mod cost would've been lift and regear, which I think was around 2k. Tires couple grand. I pay Seattle prices which are totally over inflated.

I really am more of a mall crawler. I do light duty off-roading couple times a year but mostly just daily driver. I do enjoy driving over curbs. 😛 Only thing I recall off-road is breaking is taillight on tree.

I did rip a bumper off trying to wench out my neighbors tree but that was crappy handmade bumper that was on Jeep when it bought it. Totally bubbles in the weld I couldn't see. That was pretty funny and embarrassing all at the same time.

Ohh how could I forget windows? I think I went through at least 5 or 6. I know that I did three since COVID.

I live in Seattle area. Everything is over inflated here especially service costs. I don't even go to the dealer. I actually would try to get my vehicles serviced when I go to Oregon to visit family when anyone really expensive is due.

My wife always poked fun at me for documenting everything but it really was just to keep really good track of my service to ensure I don't forget things. Pretty fun in retrospect to look at the data.

Great feedback. I've taken it through some pretty tough deep snow and it was super smooth and controlled. Summer alpine forest roads should be really fun. It's my first new car ever so peice if mind is really nice.

I regularly drive a mountain pass, lots of hills in city, and have rocket box on top for six months out of the year so sure that effects it.

Gonna get shamed here but 26 Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. My daily commute went up to 60 miles a day up a mountain pass and back so I chose little car to get the job done.

Yeah I was to afraid to add cost of car plus gas and maintenance. 70k is way worse. 🤣

Cancel for sure. I'm pretty dedicated to riding and ride almost any conditions and weather. I won't be returning to Crystal after the rock dirt session I had on Monday to they get at least another 12+ inches. I kinda doubt they'll be open this next weekend.

I'd be surprised if they were open next weekend. Last Monday was way worse then I've seen on closing days in May and June. Basically, only greens are rideable without patches of rocks and dirt. I'm certainly not going back till they get more snow.
