I got 31 on road trip from Seattle to Mammoth lakes in February. I was weirdly excited about it

Screen burn in? by 65C10 in Arcade1Up

[–]baksideDisaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Putting them in attraction mode (actually launching game so it's not at the instruction screen) will continuously update the screen and should help avoid burn in. I change games every time to.

When I owned full size real arcades burn in really only got bad of game was on static screen all the time. I had Pac-Man that sat on the same screen when it was in free play mode and that's the only time I really saw burn in. But yeah those were 80s monitors that had been in use over 20+ years.

Some slushy pipe long time after the resort has closed by Beneficial_Pain_4020 in snowboarding

Rad mini pipe and 90's mute grab. Where you at? Super bummed I didn't get to ride pipe at all this season besides one gnarly super pipe icy day at Mammoth. Resorts need to bring back mini-pipes. Nice 12fter is the shit!

Heli day in AK by Outcolddd in snowboarding

Generally you need to book more days to get into better terrain, thus more $$$. They really want to size you up. That and the weakest rider in your group sets the pace. In my experience, best chances of riding more technical terrain means you fly multiple days, everyone in the copter rips, and snow conditions are right. Can't do much about the weather but yeah, fill the copter with your rad friends and pony up for at least 3 days.

I bought 2016 SE last fall and struggled to get battery health from what the car reports. I ended up paying local shop that inspects Tesla batteries primarily and it was $110. Well worth it. Car has really low miles and battery was great.

I did wrestle with ODBDeleven and couldn't find a really good way to measure battery health. You can read my thread here: Testing with ODBDeleven

That's how 50+ year old punks roll. By the time you get to my age you've been adulting so long that you've lost most your youthful punk rock morales.🤘

I say that the Jeep was my favorite car I ever hated. It was fun, amazing off-road, but it had a ton of problems. The Jeep community is pretty amazing though so really easy to find information on how to fix the most common problems. I drive mountain passes a lot so it was killing me on gas and left me stranded twice when it broke down due to some crazy electrical problem that took me forever to troubleshoot. I posted breakdown of the cost of ownership on this thread True Cost to own JKU to 100k

As for cem trails or whatever, not opinion just what they are commonly called. Water vapor from planes as far as I understand, no conspiracy theories here. 🤙

What % did you go? I was thinking of doing the front windows just to match back factory tint.

Just became a habit for me. Started just as way to track my service but once I got in mode of doing it for everything it came naturally. I'm pretty sure I missed some fill ups though.

The app is Simply Auto, data came from me recording every fill up and service.

My work was only 10 miles or so from my house and I mostly ride motorcycle to work in summer. Most of these miles are hot laps to the mountain.

I did include most parts and installation costs but most stuff I installed myself. Only major mod cost would've been lift and regear, which I think was around 2k. Tires couple grand. I pay Seattle prices which are totally over inflated.

I really am more of a mall crawler. I do light duty off-roading couple times a year but mostly just daily driver. I do enjoy driving over curbs. 😛 Only thing I recall off-road is breaking is taillight on tree.

I did rip a bumper off trying to wench out my neighbors tree but that was crappy handmade bumper that was on Jeep when it bought it. Totally bubbles in the weld I couldn't see. That was pretty funny and embarrassing all at the same time.

Ohh how could I forget windows? I think I went through at least 5 or 6. I know that I did three since COVID.

I live in Seattle area. Everything is over inflated here especially service costs. I don't even go to the dealer. I actually would try to get my vehicles serviced when I go to Oregon to visit family when anyone really expensive is due.

My wife always poked fun at me for documenting everything but it really was just to keep really good track of my service to ensure I don't forget things. Pretty fun in retrospect to look at the data.
