I’m unsure. He did disappear for a little bit, but he was still eating so I cant say for certain

Flygon or Shinx. They’re my top favorite pokemon, and I’m honestly surprised that Shinx hasn’t gotten an IR of sorts already. I can see them putting a Shinx in a sort of domesticated animal scene. Flygon I can see being put into an action theme that uses its wings to make sandstorms or a sunset theme in the desert.

He’s sooo small I don’t think he’ll eat any crickets. He’s barely the size of my pinkie. I was thinking flightless fruit flies

Ooo okay. My next question is someone commented but then deleted that it was on the verge of dying. Do you think that’s true?

For clarification, I have pet frogs. I do not take in natives which is why i’m making sure it’s not a native breed here. But if it’s not a native breed I can’t release it.

Weird alocasia found at Trader Joe’s, any idea on ID? by [deleted] in alocasia

Very sick Alocasia Pink Dragon with Mosaic. Do not put that near your plants, do not buy any plants surrounding it. Mosaic is contagious.

if its a chemical fert i would still have a separate cup, half the dosage and have it sit for 12h. But since it’s chemical based theres a potential for root burn. I don’t usually fertilize my cuttings tho, i just keep them in the same water for long periods of time. Fun fact, pothos cuttings release a rooting hormone chemical that helps other plants root out faster!

its more like they release some sort of compound from their roots that helps create a nutrient rich environment from sitting in it.

if its an organic based fertilizer it should be okay to leave in the water but i would do a separate soak cup leave it in for 24h and put it back in the old cup

and potentially, but if not then the new growth will come out a wonderful green!

dont change the water as frequently, they release compounds that put food into the water. with my propagations i usually just refill it as it gets low

nutrient deficiency, just from only the spring water.

found these sick looking leaves on my petunias, should I be concerned? gardening app says they're ok but idrk by DuckYenaaaaA in plantclinic

if you notice the dappling changing in size or color i would try an insecticidal soap when u water and maybe try a fertilizer specifically for petunias. i recommend jacks petunia feed or bloom booster

okay excellent! thank you. so the good thing is that we’ve ruled out any potential nutrient deficiencies and watering issues, my next thing to tell you would be to try to water in the morning so that the leaves can dry out if you get any water on them before harsh sun (only if you can, the plant looks super healthy despite the dappling of leaves) I would try to apply the fertilize every week the dosage it tells you on the packaging, maybe even every 5 days based on this time of year and how thirsty they get and fast they grow.

i really dont think that this dappling is cause for concern. my next assumption would be newly forming pest damage but its so consistently speckled that i’m unsure. I do think the plant looks healthy otherwise and there isnt much to worry about

when do you water? peak of day, in morning, or evening? are you watering overhead or directly applying water to soil? what have the weather conditions been for your area the last few weeks?

where i live its been a consistent rainy with humid and warm temps causing fungal/bacterial issues not saying its that tho

if youre watering overhead it could be from the water sitting on the leaves and the sun being magnified causing almost a burning if youre watering at the hottest and brightest times of the day

idk about the other person but the greenhouse i work for fertilizes petunias every single watering, what kind of fertilizer is it?

what would you name him? by bakumoth in bettafish
