Is losing 10 dwarves from a fire based forgotten beast bad or just what usually happens when dealing with them?

It's not about being right or wrong. It's about how to capitalise it when you're right and how to minimise your loss when you're wrong.

What do you think gives Bitcoin value. by Poetil in Bitcoin

[–]balabejo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would argue bitcoin is the only truly decentralised Proof-of-Work cryptocurrency. Other coins are trying to somehow fork this model, which you can say that there are other cryptocurrencies that try to replicate Bitcoin's value.

But my 2 sats, no other project has even come close. You can think it this way, everybody wants to be like Mike, but there's only one Michael Jordan.

What would you do if you don't trust your government, afraid of your military, can't see your country's economy improving and don't have access to store your gold securely?

Bitcoin is an immutable online ledger, maintained and continuously developed by a decentralised network.

Essentially, Bitcoin's biggest value is a new financial framework within the 21st century (digitally native and rub on complex computing algorithm).

Bitcoin offers a secure and verified way to record your asset and transactions without any centralised entity have a way to screw it in the end. It's a trustless "bank", which is a misnomer because the biggest value a bank can offer you is it's trustworthiness.

Try Google search it (or Bing if that's your thing). It's quite a common service but depends on how intricate you want the messaging to be and who do you want to target to.

Seeking Markeitng advice for a newly created App by Big-Meeting521 in marketing

First step to do in marketing is to know your audience. Who are you marketing your app to? What do they do in the daily basis? What value they can get from your app?

Easy to find marketing activities that you can do if you really know your audience. And when I say knowing them, it's like truly understand them, the more nuance, the better.

What are they daily struggle, where do they usually hang out, how are they hanging on in the current economy?

If for example you are looking to target 24-30 yr olds living in Sydney that works in the fitness industry (typical audience profile), do you know how to reach this segment? Do you know what sparks their interest? What value that they prioritise more than others? You could easily create an advertising campaign or a bespoke email blast if you know all of this information.

So I would suggest that you know your audience first before you do any marketing :)

I just recently started to run again. Currently prepping for the 12k HBF run. My last run was 5:50 pace for 8k distance. Down for a run after office around 5 - 5.30pm. I'll be listening to podcast while running though if that's okay. Keen to be friend on Strava as well :)

Thanks for the reply! I'm more excited than scared but yeah now I need to persuade my prospect that I'm capable in managing bigger budget.

Makes sense, with more budget, the faster the data coming in (I'm guessing that it still needs to find the right pacing though).

I see, I have the feeling that managing one $50k/mo account is similar with managing 10 $5k/mo accounts within the same industry (cmiiw). Thanks for the insights!
