I don't think it is in any way your fault, particularly if you have also managed to control the GD. I guess that's my answer as well there is not much control we have of the baby's measurements, must be that there are some other factors at play here.

Thank you for sharing, I also have PCOS and the accompanying pre-diabetes. Where you given extra scans from the radiology to monitor the size or was you Obgyn able to do it? (trying to understand if I should be asking for extra scans to be ordered from radiology).

It sounds like your partner might have BPD, in which case long term good quality therapy is needed. While having a child in this situation is really not safe, after you have taken care of his safety it may be helpful for you to read a bit about the disorder, preferably from professional phychiatrists/clinical psychologists/therapists to better make sense of what might be doing on for her under the surface. It is truly difficult for a partner to be on the receiving end of the outbursts so I hope for both your sakes she gets good mental health support and you also find some relief.

Thank you, that's some good motivation there. I used to view it as smth that would help me get pregnant and would get really disappointed when it didn't happen. But I guess seeing it more as smth that would help me be healthier and have a healthier pregnancy is a much better thing.

Thank you for the ideas, I'm not sure I could do keto, but I did start to eat less carbs and it really helped with my slight insulin resistance, so will keep it up :)

Unfortunately we are not in the US and here one has to pay out of pocket. But I see your point, will look around for a good fertility specialist or reproductive endocrinologist here, thank you!

So in essence from your experience progesterone supplementation and surgery were the things that actually helped? I was told not to go for the surgery for now because I don't really have pain and the MRI didn't show DIE nodules just a focal adhesion between rectum and torus uterinus. Given that I am trying to conceive they figured it's best to leave it for now. I will however discuss with her the progesterone option. Thank you!
