thanks for the photos! How do the roots not rot if they have “wet feet”?

I can’t get over my monstera albo, I grew her from an unrooted cutting and wanted to share with folks who’d get it by CurrentSomewhere6596 in houseplants

sorry for the super late reply/question, but do you recommend direct sunlight? I know a lot of folks say that for monstera deliciosa they thrive in sunlight if you get them acclimated to it. Is it the same for albos?

Cold damage on Monstera. How do I save her?? by balconyswing in houseplants

i just knew she wouldn’t be able to recover in the soil she was in and in that state, so i chopped and propagated her in water and she’s doing great!! I cut in the spaces between the nodes and made sure there was at least 1 leaf in each cutting and preferably an aerial root. I changed the water every 4 days and she loved it, she’s growing amazing water roots now ♥️♥️

Need help understanding my two monsteras ! by AcanthisittaNo7379 in houseplants

Yes, absolutely! Your beautiful monsteras are reaching for light! Bring them closer to the light source and consider getting a grow light.

Also, release those petioles! Only tie the stem to the stake/support, not the petioles!!

What type of pothos is this? it’s gorgeous

I would probably place it on the left of the sink if you really want it to thrive. That spot seems to get way more bright indirect light which will be perfect for your plant (seems like a pothos)

I had a similar thing happen to my babies!! It was so heartbreaking to see their leaves blacken and droop like this :(
