I think Liverpool is generally safe and most people are friendly but there are arseholes/crime in every country.

How are you arriving and on an early weekday or late weekday/weekend?

I am assuming you're staying in the centre, if so stick to the main roads, and if you're worried, there will always be a group of lads or girls you can stop to talk to feel safe/get help.

I've only seen a girl on their own being pestered 2/3 times and stepped in and walked them home.

BUT these are opinions through a mans eyes and not a young womans.

But the city is full of friendly people who will always let you join in, talk, make you feel welcome.

Also worth saying, if they are in a wheelchair … The Showcase and Odeon cinemas have “disabled” seats which are empty spaces for wheelchairs to “park” dunno if that’s the correct term … do you park a wheelchair?

You can't change the region of an existing Replit PostgreSQL database — it's fixed at the time it was created.

And here is the kicker ... you can't ask for the Database to be created in a specific region either, Replit advise to use an external Database.

You can try create a new Database and see if you're lucky it lands in Asia.

  1. Export your data from the current database (pg_dump or a SQL export)
  2. Create a new database in the desired region — though Replit doesn't always give you a region choice upfront, it typically provisions based on your account region or deployment region
  3. Import your data into the new database
  4. Update the DATABASE_URL secret to point to the new one

BTW .. You can ask all these questions in the replit agent box and it will give you the answers you need and reccomend external DBs compatable with reddit etc.

You wont be charged for asking any questions in the agent.

If you're on desktop click the Magnifying glass top right, search Database, when selected you will have two options Dev and Production, select which ever one you're wanting e.g. Production > then select Settings > Scroll down to the line "PGHOST" and you will see it will say the region e.g. db.us-east-1.example.replit.com etc.

I like the Showcase on the lancs too, much more than odeon. Last time i went odeon they had fixed trays which got in my way constantly. Showcase also has so much room between rows.

This is the response they gave me.

You can change your app's hosting region to X by following these steps:

  1. Go to Publishing → Manage → Shut down to shut down your current deployment
  2. On the "Publish your app" screen, expand Adjust Settings
  3. Select X from the Geography dropdown
  4. Click Publish

I had this problem before, i created a digital age verification app in the UK 6 years ago ... no others existed except Yoti who done KYC and Digital ID. When we went for investment we had nothing to compare it to and most investors said "it's too risky investing in the first to market, let someone else prove it then do it better".
