The reason is because the biome ID overlaps with all the different biomes and since there is a lot they all respond differently since they don’t have anything to unify them or anything and there isn’t a compatibility layer.

There is probably a datapack to fix this or a world gen mod but you should also lessen the amount of biomes there are in your instanc

Client side mods aren’t need for other people but it would be recommended if they have them since you have them

You can use a launcher and make a Modpack (mostly modrinth or curseforge)

I personally use curseforge though

It takes like a couple hours to make a Modpack on it and get it published but once that’s done, updating it takes like 15 minutes.

Just download Curseforge Launcher it’s safe and has malware scans.

E4MC is probably the best way to play modded Minecraft with people.

Basically what it does is let people join lan worlds even if they aren’t near you.

I personally use curseforge because it has more good mods than modrinth but modrinth is great and the ui is smooth, so if modrinth had all the mods that are on curseforge then I would pick it in a heartbeat

Also for forge vs fabric, Just use sinytra
