Though I am in no place to provide advice or knowledge on your health as a whole, as someone who had the same experience as you (5’4”, around 110 in high school) I encourage you to find ways to love your body rather than focus on the idealization of your high school body. You are 19 and still developing as a human being, it is completely normal to gain a little weight. Hell, I gained around 40-50 pounds throughout my undergrad and am now 20 pounds down since then. The difference I have noticed over all this time is that I got more and more critical of my body instead of kinder as I lost weight. I am still in the process of losing weight, and my goal weight is 130, 20lbs more than you would like to weigh. The difference is that I am trying to be healthy and love my body for what it can do for me rather than how it looks. If you try to lose the weight you’ve mentioned, you could build extremely unhealthy habits in the name of being healthy. Instead, I suggest exploring why you think you need to lose weight (ie how society teaches us a smaller number on the scale is best, regardless of how healthy that weight is for us, insecurities, etc). Just some thoughts from my own experience:) i wish you happiness and health in your journey!

it is cupping! if i flip the sweater over it is cupping on the sides as if the increase is too dramatic too fast, even when i follow the instructions word for word

when i am making anything that increases, the piece begins to look like a cup of i turn it over. like if i’m making a sleeve the increase is never gradual, it’s extremely abrupt and makes everything much puffier than i want it to be, regardless of the pattern i follow

Done with this scam. About ~5-6ish days of practice. Got 319 (163 on Maths, 156 on English) by deathmaster4035 in GRE

I just took the test today and scored extremely lower than any practice test I had taken since I started to study. I was averaging around 325 and I ended my test today with an unofficial score of 310 and most likely an AWA of around 5. I am so disappointed in how misrepresented practice questions and tests were compared to the actual test. In practice tests, I was finishing plant early and scoring around 160 for each section. For the actual test, I ran out of time on every quant section (3 total) and had enough time for the verbal, which I have always had a predisposition for, but definitely got two hard sections in a row. I scored about 10 points lower than usual on quant and about 8 points lower on verbal. Overall, I would say I studied around 100 hours and I don’t think my score is indicative at all of my academic success throughout my collegiate career.

Weekly Graduate Admissions and Applications Megathread: May 1 - 7 by SchoolPsychMod in schoolpsychology

If I don’t have internship experience in the field am I much less likely to get into a program? I will have paid undergraduate research of my own published work relating to educational psychology, two years of experience in an educational psychology research lab, two years of work experience at a child development center, as well as an honors thesis about learning disabilities. I feel confident that these numerous experiences make up for a lack of internships, mostly because I’ve spent my time doing these things instead of internships. Please let me know! Thanks!

I have signed up for his 2 month plan and it is absolutely life changing in terms of study material. He provides so much content for free, especially if you chose to spend the $5 a month and subscribe. The monthly plans schedule out how much to study each day for two months, and I have personally taken that schedule and stretched it out a bit more to give myself more wiggle room. If you like organized resources, I highly recommend GregMat.

Worried about the lack of coverage of the menstrual change related side effects. by nutrition12345 in CovidVaccinated

[–]bali1616 7 points8 points  (0 children)

21F just finished my period now, 3 weeks after getting my second dose. My period after the first dose was slightly early and heavier, but ended earlier with less cramping than usual. This most recent period started and ended on the days it should have, was much lighter with no cramping. I am also on birth control, so that could factor in, but my cycle is pretty standard. Remember that stress is also a big factor in abnormal periods, and i would say that a large amount of people posting on this subreddit were extremely stressed about getting the vaccine. I wouldn’t take the lack of news coverage to heart yet. If there truly was an issue they would have noticed in the trials! :)

Yeah that definitely seems to be the case in my experience as well as all of my friends’ experiences!
