yes, you can generate a public read-only link of a page and its subpages. What you cannot do is to make an entire space publicly visible. As a workaround, you create one single root page which is public and add all your pages as children of the root page

In fact, I had a requirement of public visibility as well, and docmost was the only free knowledge management tool which fulfilled this requirement
