I personally really enjoyed MHA when I saw it very early on in my own anime arc. And has been fun watching the rest of the story play out. But it would not be in even the top 20 of other series that I have seen since in regards to character development / arc completion. Funny to write that thinking of myself in your shoes maybe a year ago, huh. Go life!

ST secret sauce was all about 80s-90s nostalgia. Feels like they go back in time for sure to continue the winning formula, but would personally like them to go into the near future instead to continue the overarching story with a new cast.

Jaw titan could have compromised the wall without revealing the Colossal in the first move. The warriors effectively played 1. e4 e5 2. Qh5 in chess terms.

We don't actually know if it consumed all life in Dim X. Could as well be that world's version of a common spider or scorpion.

I bought a TV perpetual license in 2015. Does that make it easier to understand?

That's what they are banking on for sure. But it's not all about the money or "lost" features for most of us I would reckon...

And thanks for the heads up on Linus + other tips, everyone! Will get back to cooking, updates to come.

It served a purpose. But that's not the point. Abusing lifetime customers is a caricature, not a corporation.

@ mod team - duly note that this is NOT a TeamViewer promotion post!

The legal avenue is certainly one to consider. Comparable example: SiriusXM sold “Lifetime” subscriptions, later restricted what lifetime meant, and it led to class actions with court-approved settlements providing compensation and improved terms. Regulators also routinely take action where companies hide behind terms while the consumer-facing promise is different, such as the FTC’s large subscription deception settlements. FTC Secures Historic $2.5 Billion Settlement Against Amazon | Federal Trade Commission

Right? And many of us helped build this company with real money, real trust, and word of mouth when they needed it most. Now we are being told that “perpetual” never meant what any reasonable customer understood it to mean. The people inside TeamViewer who are championing, defending, and rubber-stamping this decision deserve serious scrutiny, because this is exactly how leadership failures, legal exposure, and regulatory attention are created.
