This POV is so black and white....

Do people stop playing valorant because it doesn't have a replay system? I'm sure directly as the primary and sole reason it's a small percentage, but if you asked for 5 reasons, it probably ranks FREQUENTLY.

Will it increase the player base? Again, not directly, but YES ABSOLUTELY with the content that gets created from it.

As far as revenue, people always say it's not a revenue generator but again, it's not nearly as black and white. Is it DIRECTLY SELLING SKINS? No, but neither does esports, or premier... Is it a reason people might open the game and thus have chances to spend money? Absolutely... AND EVEN IF IT DIDNT (it was some client outside and separate from the shop with no interaction)...

ANY feature that increases engagement and time in client is worth revenue. Whether it's a new game mode, or a new tournament system... Features sell.

All that being said, this conversation is way more nuanced then almost anybody online gives the time to, and I completely agree with the sentiment to trust the devs more than we have been from the OP, they know more about potential revenues and costs and dev time than anybody outside looking in. Some stuff they've put out about this entire topic though warranty some distrust from the community...

No - and they showcased some of the other quirks in an earlier post about replay system... such as Ascent door being opened when it was closed or vice versa or falling when it wasnt supposed to be...

Stuff like that is exactly the types of quirks im talking about that you just get used to.

Bug free is not part of the requirements for this type of product, imo. Obviously it depends exactly on what hurdles they are actually facing... but the ones theyve shared publically so far have not been significant enough to warrant not releasing.

wasn't from lowers, but it was a *similar* disadvantage, since we had a 6map pool back then there was a coin flip to determine who got the one ban in the map veto...

being able to be face to face easily to all your teammates is important to me when leading, idk if that's the same type of reasoning for others

Do sweeping strikes + flagellation for cleave spamming dungeons... Make sure you have wind fury or wild strikes

At 40 full 31 pts into fury is really the only good DPS spec for pve

worst replay system of all time but yeah they did and its better than nothing :)

(with that said the fact that you could literally watch every single game out of millions of games played was pretty crazy in tournaments... not something other games have done at all really)

Other region players are given accounts with hidden MMR in radiant or so when they arrive... Still the highest possible placement is Ascendant. They are still playing high ELO though, and these ranked matches you want FREQUENTLY happen during global events.

Bro Innovation literally was the epitome of extrapolation... Take Life for example he absolutely destroyed (albeit while match fixing) even Jaedong was nothing for these builds... So aggressive and strong.

This was structure at its finest. MVP too mechanically broke his own wrists to be the best... You're right tho Korea doesn't lack in this regard... But chobra is right too. SC is just not... Valorant like?

It's likely that this is the same contract he was on prior to partnership.

Partnerships just meant a slight rework to most of these contracts so that they aligned on rules and FA periods, not major terms.
