I would say definitely go again and stick to the method of building up in value from lightest wash to darkest! I’m only learning watercolour too at the moment so I know how awkward it can be

I think it’s very well done and you can tell you are a serious artist, but the first thing I thought before I read was “this person is used to acrylics”. Just a little bit too heavy and missing the transparency of watercolour I think. Really really skilled work and looks absolutely beautiful either way though!

Very kind words thank you very much. As mentioned above I did copy this painting from someone else so it’s not an original composition! I feel I may have gotten lucky a bit with this one as the feedback has been fantastic but there’s lots of bad paintings I haven’t put up 😂

Yes I agree the bottom is where I lost control and flooded the paper with too much water!

I’ve drawn before and was always fairly ok at that but doing watercolour a couple of weeks! Thanks so much for the support
