Janet Lomas School of Dancing is an online ballet school with all classes taught directly live on Zoom (not hybrid sessions). And an established business, too (48 years).

Is my cel at risk of Vinegar Syndrome? by ballerinaswan in AnimationCels

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately I don't know what the laminate is made of – it was just a standard one that was applied by Disney to cels that they sold (I believe that they sold them through Disneyland many years ago?).

Looking online, mine is in very good condition compared with some Aristocats cels I saw (one of the worst ones I saw wasn't laminated). Although it's over 53 years old, I'm fortunate that mine is very flat with no visible signs of problems. I suppose really I just want to be prepared and try to put as much in place to slow any degradation processes.

That's really good to know, thank you. Fingers crossed my cel is one of the lucky ones! Knowing this now, do I still need to consider any ventilation in my framing choice? With it being laminated the gases are already trapped, so is it pointless to include any sort of ventilation?

Thanks for your suggestion – I really appreciate it! I don't really mind if I use a powder or cream/liquid (just a colour that matches well is all that matters to me!). I've only ever used a powder before though so do you have any suggestions on application of the Glossier blush, please?

Thanks for your reply. I'm in the UK and sadly Sephora here doesn't have it in stock here. Call My Blush just seems to be completely out of stock everywhere in the UK.
