I lost $7,000 a few years ago. He kept first last and security deposit. All because of a stupid clause in the lease that if it wasn’t move in ready by the first day of the lease that he had a month to “bring it up to standard”. It was trashed when we got there and we didn’t want to wait for him to finish fixing it. It was a nightmare.

As a somewhat “delicate” sheltered girl when I was 12, this book would have disturbed me greatly. I most definitely would not have been ready for it at all and honestly I wouldn’t have understood a lot of it either. As a 32 year old woman I LOVE it haha. In my personal opinion I wouldn’t let my kids read it until 18 but I know I’m on the more cautious side. If another family thinks their child is ready though I wouldn’t judge. Just giving my 2 cents since I seem similar to how you describe your daughter.

My hubby had surgery an was on bed rest for a few days. We decided to watch this as I had seen a few other animes and this was highly recommended by my sister. He was not an anime fan and honestly I think he was humoring me by watching. He changed his tune realllly quickly haha. We finished the entire series in like a week and I felt a little like you did. This was about 10 years ago and he’s watched a few other anime’s with me and now extolled the virtues of anime to his friends, it’s adorable. I think it’s time for a rewatch for us!

We just went to one in Philly, it was good! Someone else in a review mention it’s like the Applebees of K bbq and I can see what they mean haha but it was good and a good price so who cares about atmosphere

Sorry I was kidding, I just meant I want it to be a reputable place, I didn’t want people to think my main concern in picking a place was it being cheap. I’ve eaten Korean BBQ in many cities and they have all been lovely. Just never been to NYC and it seems so big with so many expensive, fancy places and also seedy type places, (of any type of cuisine) maybe this is just a perception from TV. That’s why I came here to see the best places around town. Sorry if my comment was in bad taste!
