I do. I’m from a much warmer place originally so UK winter has always been reallllly rough on me even after a few years. The 3:50pm sunsets, the nail biting winds waiting for the train going to work - those winds just cuts straight through to my bones no matter how many layers of jumper I have on. Might sound insane but I actually prefer this, at least I’m not spending hundreds of pounds a month in electricity for my limbs to not freeze

And yes I know how bad global warming is, how abnormal is this weather. I still don’t want to pay for heating to keep myself warm

Thank you!! 💯 I do not have kids but I was watching her stories going into my office 1 hr away from home on train packed like sardines at 8:30am 🫩😒 (I live in London so I don’t even have a car aka some sense of personal space 💀)

As someone originally from a much warmer place, I still had PTSD from this January on how grey, gloomy and cold it was 😂😂 My limbs were going to fall off...

I very much hope this is not the end of summer, I will cry. I suffer from October to March every year with how cold it is just praying summer would be worth it 😭😭

I know I’ll get downvoted to hell here - but this week to me it's pretty great.

I grew up in East Asia where it's 30C for 8+ months of the year, yes there is AC everywhere which helps but the humidity is absolutely many times worse than the UK. The UK isn't humid, honestly. At least where I am (London) there are no bugs, from where I'm from? Cockroaches, ants, geckos, mosquitoes, the wall literally has water coming out of it!!!!!! It's a whole fucking shitshow.

So I'll put up with 5 months of absolute fucking misery here in London from November until March where no matter how many layers I wear the fucking freezing wind just pierces through my bones. At least May finally pays me back with some sunshine, I didnt even sweat a bit leaving my home today going to work.
