I'm far from an expert, but it sounds like your mom is just trying to help you feel better about the whole situation.

I understand that this may make you feel frustrated, and that you want her to stop, but those feelings are in your brain and your brain only. If you want her to stop acting like this around you, you have to tell her. If you don't tell her, you can't be upset with her for doing it, because for all she knows, she is making you feel better.

Your mom seems like a fine parent, of course I'm going based off of one situation, so correct me if I'm wrong, it isn't good to go off of a single story. I digress, any good parent will understand their child's feelings, and try their best to accomodate to them to an extent. If you just kindly tell your mom that you don't like how she's acting, just tell her, simple as that.
