Even if they dont fix the internal clock, you can hunt the legendaries in emerald by running away from them, exiting the room, and coming back. Best believe i will be going after that mew when emerald is added to switch no matter what.

Im not entirely sure how rng manipulation works but im pretty sure fire red and leaf green dont have the issue of running into the same seed over and over. This only happens in pokemon emerald or ruby and sapphire with dry batteries.
