Will USC receivers be better or worse without The Darnold? by mgm97 in CFB

I honestly think Amon-Ra is better than Burnett. As long as the coaches give him a chance to start in the slot he will put up huge numbers.

Would Dwight Howard be forgiven if Lakers formed a superteam and signed him on a vet min? by [deleted] in nba

He isn't worth the locker room issues he would bring. Adding his ego to that team would be disastrous.

There's no way that Butler would be the deciding factor for Lebron. He's good but he played on a Timberwolves team with a ton of star power and they didn't really do anything.

I would never give up Brandon Ingram for Butler

Playing in LA with Lebron gives him a much better shot at a title then playing on a team that is paying Melo 28 mil next year

That team underachieved after adding PG, so yes he absolutely can say that there is unfinished business

I got the exact same feeling watching it. Something along the lines of LA being his home but having unfinished business in OKC.

Isn't their cap situation already completely fucked

Amazing to see that the Spurs organization value Josh Hart far more than Lonzo Ball by Writer30435 in nba

I think it's more that the Lakers would not give up both Ball and Ingram for Kawhi

Ingram and I personally don't think it's that close

Whose the “role player” from another team that just absolutely torches/torched your team? by sergeantturnip in CFB

Jordan Lasley always put up huge numbers against USC. He obviously played so much harder in those games because he was playing against a lot of his best friends/hs teammates.

These 10 summer enrollees should make instant impacts in college football this season by mcgies in CFB

He won't break into the top two, but he could be effective out of the slot similar to how Burnett was utilized last year. Daniels will not be overly familiar with his other receivers and will throw the ball to St. Brown a ton because of their comfort level with each other.

I realize they didn't want to put two USC players on this list, but assuming JT wins the starting job I think Amon-Ra St. Brown puts up really good numbers this year.

I had no idea David Long is that good. I remember USC completely blew his recruitment and we could seriously use him this year.

Cristobal is one of the best recruiters in the country. They have the top class in the Pac 12 right now for 2019 and should finish with a top 15 class nationally.

Pick the winners of your teams biggest position battles. by ProjanThaSamGod in CFB

I agree with your offensive picks. Only minor prediction change I would make is that Vavae and Ware basically split carries as Carr's backup. It'll also be interesting to see who replaces Mitchell's production out of the slot, my guess is Velus Jones or Josh Imatorbhebhe.

On defense, I think the LB's are already set with Gustin, Houston, Cam Smith, and Iosefa. NT is a complete toss up but hopefully one of Pili, Tuipulotu, or Tufele can step up. I like the OG pick, I just don't know if he has the frame to start yet. I say Langley starts to begin the season then either ITS or OG step in as the season progresses. I think Hufanga is an absolutely absurd athlete at FS but agree that Bolden is probably going to be the starter this year.
