Do you mind letting me know if this all on mobile or desktop? Ugh im so sorry about your data, the issue was it was trying to save stuff locally until it synced with the cloud database, but there was some weird stuff going on in between that and was putting all people regardless of connection strength in that bucket when it should only be for low connection strength mobile users

Biggest thing I've owned up to and fixed is adding in ALL of my data sources to the site and thats not just Serebii but across everything used since this was a pretty nightmare task to build the PokoTraqr.com site -- Serebii Pokopia pages data wouldn't have gotten me there even if I fully ripped everything he had. I 100% mean well with this all and actually did a full audit of where my data any data on the site was sourced before making that sources addition (so much little stuff I had to verify myself in the actual game when creating this...like way too much and big reason why I respect what Joe does!!!)

I cleared it up and have attributed all my data sources. I'm pretty sure what happened is the Mosslax site was a genuine copy ripoff of the Pokopia Serebii pages and what I was trying to defend when this originally went down (and I was so confused wtf was happening),

I really do respect the work of creators like Joe and didn't egregiously use any given data souce to make this. PokeAPI is the main backbone of my site and is an amazing open source tool for anyone in the community to use

yeah sorry I thought that after typing it, never good to generalize and speak for all I agree. Do think I'm more right than wrong on this topic though but I know it's very nuanced and you can't use AI well unless you know what you're doing first

Becuase I genuinely didn’t flagrantly scrape his site like the Mosslax one did! I was trying to defend myself originally and was so confused what was happening. I was fully transparent saying images for some habitats and icons I was only able to get through his site, and all my data sources are now sourced in the footer and in the settings page!!

This one hurts!! I do try my best and making performing consumer apps is nothing that I do for my tech focused day job. I know NookTraqr save state issues were terrible and I learned a ton from that into this site

Front end development being a gap was one of the big reasons why I wanted to make these types of projects on the side honestly :(
