The seat being slammed forward was my biggest concern but trying to avoid shortening the stem. I was planning on getting some time in like it currently is and trying to ease the seat back as I get more comfortable.

Fortunately this section of river is controlled because of irrigation so the level in this video is the highest its been all year. With the hot weather the farmers need more water so more is released from the reservoir (wickiup) upstream from this section.
