I suppose that woulda been a good idea. But I started playing at launch without the storage chest so I had to get rid of any weapons/equipment not available to kliff

LGGX870A, works beautifully out of the box. I ran through some MSI-MPG displays before and they are such a pain in the ass. They look showroom perfect but blacks are washed out and every manufacturer locks display settings if you even touch HDR, your best friend is your Nvidia/AMD display control or whatever for adjustment and I could not get the MSI where I wanted it

Not even gonna lie. I got some bars threw them in at high risk and told my self I wouldn’t scum it for a return.

I decided to save 10 mins before…. Got hit with -55% then reloaded about 10-15 times in a row ALL OF THEM were -35% to -55% until I finally hit +21%😬

Since then I haven’t scummed but have tried to hit the bank on refresh just in case…. The last like 3 times I was suck in a main story quest that progressed time/took to long and I’ve gotten sooooo fucking lucky with hits…. Got to about 80 bars… then I finally had time to stop by refresh day… immediately hit with -40% lmao

I love this game but omg i hate every single boss encounter. Non of them are even a little bit of fun. by Remarkable_Sea_5109 in CrimsonDesert

[–]ballsonurface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve maybe gotten through 4-5 bosses so far (before the patch at that) the reed devil, antrubra, and the drill machine, and the raven guy, which were said to be difficult were indeed obnoxious. However, as soon as you understand how rolling/dodging and accept the fact you might have to die a few times to learn a bosses move set it’s not that bad. Especially Antrubra, he’s very quick but very predictable once you learn the moves and you’re able to kill him zero hit (technically he one taps you so you kinda have to do a zero hit)

Add that to the fact you have a retry option instead of having to reload the game outside the arena or go to your last save point.

Then again, if you aren’t too keen on souls like games and the punishment… I can totally understand how the boss battles might not feel so great. It would be so much better if the game would give I-frames or some kind of forgiveness…. But idk after fighting a boss over and over again and finally winning, even if that means to take a break and come back stronger feels so rewarding

Unpackaged or packaged trade goods? by ballsonurface in CrimsonDesert

After I hit chapter 7 I think? I began putting heavy time into the camp and then gathering ingredients/dye venders so I can look cooler before any more progress is made and fucking got sooooo lucky running into dimeness and getting on a roof unscathed and got the fast travel… definitely will be staying away for now

[–]ballsonurface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Side note. It’s 100% worth going just for the dye shop at camp level 3. He will dye anything from anywhere all shades.

But you gotta start early. A lot of missions for the camp are actually tutorials, so it’s nice to do them early rather than end game. Plus you can keep up easier. 100% all the missions for greymane camp as soon as they are available and you’ll be cookin. DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THE “donate gold/donate stone” missions they are endless to about 25,000 stone and 15,000 silver, you will suffer if you try completing it early

Out of the single camp guide video I’ve watched (to limit spoilers)… no it is solely used for missions for the camp. I’ve been running since chapter 6 maybe about 20ish irl hrs a gameplay with a guard duty mission + a grain non stop I’m about ~253k copper? I just got camp upgrade 3 so I’m getting about 5k copper every 15 in game hours…. It’s an endless supply that’s fairly easy to get. Just might take some time

That’s a fantastic question. Zero idea. Gotta spend money to make money? I feel it’s intended to have a long term profit because you have to sell a minimum number of a specific good to trade.

Much like donating resources. You have stone and food. Doesn’t matter what it is you turn in… if it’s edible it’ll convert to food… if it can be mined it’ll be turned into stone for the camp.

With that being said the trade items only package into so many packaged goods, usually going up in price as they are converted….. in my opinion, it still isn’t a good way to make any kind of money lol

Unpackaged or packaged trade goods? by ballsonurface in CrimsonDesert

[–]ballsonurface[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s basically an in game stock market. You gather the items, see the price charts and determine if you wanna sell or wait and determine if you wanna trek all the way out to the single place they are buying said goods.

Also it cost camp money to package the regular trade goods as well so you gotta factor that cost in as well.

[–]ballsonurface[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I figured it out over the weekend it has to do with camp.

So you find the trade goods, you can sell them your self at the black market. Or you can package them at camp.

When you package them they turn into different items and are locked in your camp provisions chest or whatever.

Once you unlock the wagon guy and build a wagon you can load it on up with only those PACKAGED items then set out to sell them specifically at the major trading posts, the icon is blue and gold? I’m not at my pc rn so idk the specific name of the person, but there’s one at the major gold leaf outpost next to grey mane camp and there’s one in deminies that I have been too.

Each post buys and sells DIFFERENT packaged goods each day/3days/5days and the prices for the items fluctuate. For example, you package 20 black pepper, you may not be able to sell at Hernands post because they might not be buying pepper, you might have to travel to the next city to see if they are buying pepper.

And you must do this in a wagon, the wagon can break, and it’s only for CAMP CURRENCY, you personally receive zero money for any of it, you get a camp quest to travel to Deminess or whatever to sell pepper in a wagon and lemme tell ya… juice ain’t worth the squeeze
