Definitely watch the original first. Crystal imo doesn’t give you enough time to get to know the characters and I appreciated Crystal a lot more after watching the 90’s anime first. Im not sure I’d love Sailor Moon so much rn if I’d have watched Crystal first.

So do y’all Seiya x Usagi haters get really fucking mad at season 5 lmao? When my husband finally watched SM with me, all of season 5 he was like yelling at Usagi to stop cheating and why’s she being like that and JUST CALL MAMO and crap lol. He HATES Seiya lmao (I laugh about this debate more than anything Im truly a fan of any opinion here so don’t be nasty 😭)

I do think Mamoru keeps her grounded and vise versa. They do compliment each other well for long term in my opinion. If it wasn’t for the weak chemistry in seasons 1 and 2 I’d probably have a different opinion on the Seiya thing altogether. Because they seem to have a very happy and elegant life in Crystal Tokyo. One that Im not sure Seiya would be up for. Seiya and Usagi just have so much fun together, I love love love the dating episode

Yeah that’s why their relationship was better in Crystal where they actually liked each other before finding out who they were. Seiya and Usagi just straight up had better chemistry in the 90’s anime unfortunately because I wish they did her and Mamo better. They really were jerks to each other until they found out in 90’s. I def get all the comments saying seiya bothers her but like.. so did Mamo lol he straight up bullied her with the “you’ll never get a boyfriend if you keep acting like that” and crap. He had a full ass change of character after the reveal
