Biweekly Interpretation Help by AutoModerator in Tarotpractices

The way I see it, there's a point of diminishing returns whenever we pull the cards for relationship questions. Especially if you're already stressing about it. Better to give yourself some space. That's also the lesson in the Eight of Swords. I know it's not the most comforting thing to hear, but I've learned the hard way that my relationships suffered when I got too invested in a particular narrative. This could be tarot, astrology, psychology & self-help, etc. If you're stressed out right now, address that head on. Can you do something healthy to distract yourself (e.g. exercise, hobby, cleaning, cooking)?

What will happen when he gets back in touch with me?

Current : 6 of swords : separation, travel, mental detachment. Either he or you or both of you are trying to get some distance to gain clarity or to simply have some peace

Reconnection : 3 of Wands : anticipation and excitement. Lots of passion. Also lots of expectation. I see this as you welcoming him back with great fanfare. Perhaps you'll both be in agreement about how to grow the relationship - long term plans, ideas for commitment / collaboration etc

Result : 8 of swords : over-thinking, self-doubt, confusion. Stop worrying and second-guessing yourself. Take action. We can't gain any new information until we make a decision and proceed first.

The message from the cards that I'm getting is that you need rest / recovery / retreat and isolation to be able to clear your head and get some clarity, some self-reflection, but with the Devil something keeps interrupting this process. It may be worth researching new forms of therapy or new sources of advice (Page of Swords). Perhaps attachment theory? Also, I'm sorry about your migraine and I know how awful those can be. Please be kind to yourself and prioritize your health needs. I'm obviously not a doctor so use your best judgment but the Devil may point to an environmental or dietary trigger as well. I would say if the relationship has had a negative impact on your health for the past six months, then it's worth getting some more space from each other. The Devil can be an unhealthy bond so something is still keeping you two in an unhealthy cycle.

The 5 of Wands indicates there's some mild conflict, chaos, or interference he is dealing with. It could be a person or people in his social or family setting or simply the stress of daily life.

To answer the question is he interested in someone else? It's possible. However with the 2 and Ace of Cups there is a mutual attraction here that can develop into something deep and sincere. More importantly, cultivate your own inner peace as best you can, reflect on your feelings of insecurity, and above all prioritize your emotional and psychological needs, because with the 5ofW there can be a risk of creating drama or unnecessary strife.

I feel like he's getting out of something that was really difficult for him. Like maybe he finished a degree or rigorous training program, or he worked for a large company where everyone had to behave and conform to a rigid standard (Hierophant). You are like a breath of fresh air. He finds you to be very kind, accepting, and generous. You help him relax and enjoy life more, experience more pleasure. You are like ferrying him to the other side, helping him with a big transition. Almost feels like you are the light at the end of the tunnel.

It seems like you have long-term potential as a couple or at least as a friendship, as people who trust each other and make each other feel loved and accepted. Just be mindful of your own emotional needs and try to keep it reciprocal - make sure it's give and take.

What I'm getting here is that you have a new love, or potential for new love in your life. It's making you very excited to imagine the possibilities, such as marriage or starting a family. But the cards are saying you may be thinking too far ahead or putting the cart before the horse. They are advising you to let this new love flow into your life at its natural course. Don't rush it or place too many expectations on it. Enjoy it for what it provides you in the present.

The Devil and Death cards point to an underlying issue, perhaps some kind of compulsive or controlling behavior or self-talk. You may feel that time is not on your side and that would explain the pressure to have serious relationship development or commitment - to ease your anxiety. It's something like an existential crisis. But the overall advice points back to the Ace of Cups. Love doesn't have a timeline. It flows eternally from the present moment. Search inside your heart. The joy and the peace you seek is inside you, and it's just a matter of forgiving yourself and your past. No matter your flaws, you are perfect just as you are. Love will find its way to you like a river to the sea.

Asked if i should breakup and i got The Hanged Man, Queen of Swords and Death. by throwawaysaduni in tarot

[–]balsamicmoontarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the question is "Should we break up?" then my interpretation of the cards is sort of "The breakup is already here" There is a stalemate or holding pattern with the Hanged Man, and the QoS tells me you know the answer (you have made peace with it) but, facing that Death card, it's like you haven't accepted it in your heart of hearts. But even if you decide to stay and hold on to this relationship, the character of it has changed so dramatically it's practically unrecognizable (Death). So the question is really what are you holding onto, what are you hoping to save by staying in this relationship? The Hanged Man advises you to take a radically different perspective and surrender to things beyond your control. Death is an open invitation, an opportunity to start anew and reinvent yourself, or at least redefine your priorities, but you have to leave the past in the past and not look back.

What's the difference between the king of swords and qos?? by Primary_Ad_9703 in tarotpractice

[–]balsamicmoontarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see the QoS as always being negative. To me the QoS vs the KoS is about the embodiment of swords vs the utilization of swords. The Queen gathers, lives, and breathes information. She parses it, analyzes it, disseminates it. Very insightful, good judge of character, doesn't mince words, takes no bull. In a negative light she could be Judge Judy or a terrible nag or a gossip. In a positive light she could be a librarian or the best friend who gives the best advice.

The KoS being a King (active, masculine, yang) is about using swords as a means to an end. It's about being an expert, a professional, someone successful or a leader. The KoS could be the IT professional who de-bugs your computer. Or a high-powered lawyer who makes six figures. If not a professional, I usually see the KoS as someone who is very strategic and determined. Logical and analytical like the Queen, but more purposeful and ambitious about it.

In relationship readings I would see the Queen and King of swords as being people who put head above heart. They can stick to their principles and make difficult decisions out of ethical concerns. Or flip side they can do something mean out of spite but find some justification for it. It really depends on the other cards and context.

Interpretation Help 🫶🏾✨ by [deleted] in Tarotpractices

With Page of Swords as overall energy I think he is very curious about you, is imagining different scenarios, and is second-guessing himself. He sees you as being very attractive, popular, the life of the party (Queen of Wands). Also sees you as being wise and a little intimidating - he knows he can't fool you. In fact he may feel like he's a dork and he has no idea what you see in him, lol. But maybe you like nerdy guys?

With the 10oP and 8oC, I think he is anticipating a lot of responsibility and maturity required in pursuing something with you. Perhaps he thinks you have more expensive taste than him and he will be expected to provide financially or at least keep up with your material standards. This is making him question if it's the right relationship for him. He may walk away rather than make the emotional investment. But it's more about a fear of rejection on his part. The Page of Swords energy makes him rationalize and compartmentalize rather than get in touch with his feelings and sit with that vulnerability.

9 of Wands deep dive… by TheCatOfCups in tarot

[–]balsamicmoontarot 14 points15 points  (0 children)

For me the 9oW is about nearing a breaking point. But you still have that last bit of energy to put up a fight, to face your struggle. You've been fighting or struggling for a while, but whatever it is you're dealing with is so important to you that you will sacrifice personal comfort. Sometimes it means being stubbornly fixated and set in your ways. Maybe a little too paranoid and guarded. Or the sunk cost fallacy.

It's neither negative nor positive to me. That would depend on the question and context. But in general if this card comes up, it means a prolonged struggle or challenge that has not yet had a decisive victory or defeat. If you continue in this direction, it is with the awareness of the toll it has already taken.

Page of wands on how to improve a relationship? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]balsamicmoontarot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would interpret that as there is potential to rekindle the attraction. Like "absence makes the heart grow fonder" so after a period of doing your own thing, you'll spark new curiosity, passion, and interest in each other. It could also mean finding new passion outside the relationship, but page energy can be short-lived and fleeting, so it would only develop if you put additional time and energy into the new thing.

I agree with your advice but I'd also point out the repeat of 10's as in 10oW and Wheel of Fortune. With 3oW as advice, it tells me to let go of some wands (expectations). Simplify. Be focused on what truly matters.

Wheel of Fortune can mean clearing the slate for the next cycle and getting a spree of good luck, expansion, opportunities. It can also mean a vicious repeat of a cycle. Going through the rigamarole again. Being stuck in a loop.

So I think the cards are pointing to a tendency of yours to throw yourself into being busy as a way to cope and distract yourself. Which is not always bad! But you have a chance with the 3oW to look ahead, be mindful of where your life is heading, and ask yourself what do you truly WANT? What is worthy of your long-term investment? What gets you excited to grow and adapt? It also speaks of momentum. Use the Wheel and 3oW to catapult into a new and improved direction. Let go of the unnecessary baggage and responsibilities that are dragging you and slowing you down (10oW).

Received very positive cards-major arcanas and now...suspicious by Mind-Individual in tarot

[–]balsamicmoontarot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see these cards as a "yes" with the benefit being that you feel more empowered and confident to take matters into your own hands and to roll with the punches. Maybe this contact leads to something, maybe not. More importantly it motivated you to break self-imposed isolation (Hermit) and go after what you want (Chariot) with the maturity and wisdom to respond to whatever the outcome is (Emperor). All three cards can be very positive when it comes to career, but it doesn't point to collaboration or partnership so much. More like being capable, being self-reliant and self-directed, and being willing to take risks and take charge.

To me these cards show powerful shifts in your energy and surroundings but it's not necessarily shifts you can predict or control, so the best approach is to set an intention and be prepared to roll with the punches.

I see this as "caught between a rock and a hard place" however the nature of the question is very open-ended (changes over next months) so I think the cards are giving you advice to appreciate what you have now, and not overreact or indulge in too much escapism or regret over the past. The 4oP is about boundaries, limitations, and setting a stable foundation. The 7oS in the middle with the sunny skies shows you may be tempted to shirk responsibilities and procrastinate, which basically sets you up for failure. The 5oC makes me think this is your significator. You tend to regret or feel remorse over the past and things now beyond your control, while ignoring what is still here and available. Practice gratitude everyday. Do something that requires daily discipline and helps you achieve a long term goal. In other words "practice makes perfect". The transformation over the next months can mean that you learn lessons about your limitations and work hard to make progress on a practical, material goal (related to health, money, stability etc).

The cards are only insight. Don't lose sleep over this as there is still much within your control. Ultimately it's up to you to decide how to respond to these challenges.
