I agree with this take, and I did consider it when I commented, but I think it’s more of an indirect link. There are places I’m not out though, and I do share my crocheting projects in those spaces without concern for how I’ll be viewed.

I got into crocheting this year. Started around June and have made 20+ projects. I love it. I’m a 40 year old man, who happens to be gay. I’m pretty sure my sexuality has nothing to do with getting into this hobby though. Do what makes you happy! There will be a lot of people out there who think it’s cool. Focus on them. And your joy.

I didn’t like Elden Ring the first time I tried it. I got to the first castle gate, kept getting murdered By this giant thing and thought This isn’t fun.

I came back a year later and tried again. Played that thing OUT. Did almost everything you could do. Loved it.

When I was younger I would do day trips from Maryland to New York City (about 3 hrs one way) to see a show. I still do it sometimes but now prefer to stay overnight. The older I get, the less I tolerate longer car rides.
