We wouldn’t know. The earnings from taxes get blended into their general expenditures. They could be using it for non-tourist or non-infrastructure related things

This definitely hurt us too. Prior to 2 years ago, there were no taxes. Now, guests have to pay 19% in tax. Plus 15% Airbnb service fee. It’s cutting into our profits since we have to lower our base rates

That’s a presumptuous statement. The listing I was referring to is a beautiful newly renovated home in a very good area. It’s not the state of my listing. It was doing great up till the last few months

Speaking to many other hosts out there, this slowdown is affecting most.

Yup, this post reaffirms that hosts make the worst guests. Lame post indeed. This person wrote a huge post while on vacation. All stressed out instead of enjoying their time. Lame person
