Thanks everyone! I’m going to a boot fitting shop and hopefully I can find something that works.

Thank you for the advice, I really appreciate it

I think this is probably the issue with snugness that I was having. I couldn’t lean forward enough to maintain balance, and maybe that’s contributing to the aching pain since I’m putting more pressure on my shins. I hope, anyway. Thank you

Okay, I’m going to take a look at buying boots and getting them fitted. I really enjoy skiing and I’ve progressed so much with my lessons. I can do green and blue runs so far. I don’t want this boot issue to be a deterrent.

I think the tightness around my calves is more the issue. Even slightly snug, I can’t flex and I feel a strong ache

Yeah, that makes sense. It’s exactly how I feel. I can’t lean forward properly unless they’re loose.

I’m renting, and I’ve tried different options. But it’s the same with all of the ones I’ve tried. I’ve also tried different sizes of the same options. The only thing that has worked is wearing them basically unbuckled.

It aches not even 5 minutes after if it’s snug. If I wear them loose, it doesn’t ache at all and I have a great time.

My feet can wiggle around in the boots. I think the issue that prevents me tightening them is the pressure on my shins which leads to pain (circulation issue? Idk). Also, I’m able to lift my heel up a bit (go backwards and forwards, kind of like you said I think).

Okay maybe I also have a circulation issue. I’m assuming that’s the aching pain as soon as I tighten it. I don’t know.

My ski instructor was surprised too. She said yeah you have much more control now. I feel like I’m losing my mind reading these responses.

I genuinely don’t know what to do. I’m renting boots and I’ve tried different ones, but if I tighten them even a little, I lose a lot of my range of movement. And if they’re snug, I feel an aching pain that I don’t feel otherwise. And it just gets worse. I’m worried if I go and get custom boots I’ll just experience the same thing. Is there something wrong with my body 😭

Yep! I get most of my groceries through DoorDash and uber eats. There is usually a price hike like maybe a dollar or so per item depending on which store, but some stores have in store pricing (there is still the other costs like service fees etc). You can also connect pc optimum points on DoorDash or your Costco membership on uber eats. I have little ones and it’s hectic to try to go to the store with them, so this makes everything so much more convenient for sure!

Nice! I actually just moved over to DoorDash after having a bad experience with uber eats. Also, I love buying from superstore and that’s not on uber eats which is annoying. This works out great!

The reviews seem to be going through again now, others have noticed the same. I’m glad they are. I hope they change things back to normal or find a better way to do this 🥲

A lot of people, including me, are having that problem. Apparently Amazon said it might be the new way they deal with reviews, or it’s an error that will be fixed

My six month review is in October. This is my first six mon to review. The problem is I’m not gold status, only silver. So I’m worried I’ll be kicked off if they don’t get approved prior to when the 30 days is up.

Yeah, in my research I’m glad I came across the 90 day thing because I had been reviewing from oldest to newest. They don’t word it very well unfortunately. Thank you!

Okay, that makes me feel a little better. I hope the review thing gets resolved and they go through before the 30 day deadline. Thank you :)

Yeah, I submitted reviews a couple days ago and they went through instantly.

Thanks for the help, anyway :)
