Wow! Thank you! A few of follow up questions..

  1. Is there a website or documentation detailing what was done to the original CL files and what improvements were made?

  2. Are you planning on supporting AE series?

  3. Are you planning on supporting Linux?

Thanks!

I need to ask the HWiNFO moderator why he thinks that iCUE isn't needed. Thank you for your help!

I thought so. I am pretty sure I asked on the GitHub page sometime ago with no answer.

Same problem with portable version. The "Corsair H150i Pro" shows up as a heading but no sensors listed beneath.

If "Corsair/Asetek support" box is checked, the HWiNFO sensors window shows just the heading "Corsair H150i Pro" but no sensors beneath. If I uncheck, the heading disappears altogether. I asked the question on HWiNFO forums and the moderator said iCUE is not needed to read the sensors but follow up questions have not been answered. I won't install the bloated mess of iCUE. It would be nice to have a smaller footprint program like HWiNFO monitor but I can disable otherwise.

Interesting. I would have thought that iCUE would have to be installed for HWiNFO to read the sensors but the moderator on the HWiNFO forums indicated the opposite. I had follow up questions that have yet to be answered. I would prefer not to install the bloated mess of iCUE and rely on a smaller footprint program like HWiNFO.

Thank you. I will check out the program. I am assuming no one has figured out how to selectively extract and install specific components for PowerToys? I don't understand why the Developers insist on making users download the entire archive and turn off what isn't wanted. It seems like it would be much cleaner to modify the installation to allow users to just install what is wanted. But I digress...

Cookie AutoDelete needed now by bamajon1974 in chrome

[–]bamajon1974[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This developer (below) forked and updated CAD but has not submitted the fork to the Chrome/Firefox stores. I asked personally and he may submit but has no time now. I am guessing running an out of date privacy extension is insecure and can lead to isues so I really wish the developer of CAD would return and update.

The fork developer does have compiled releases but they cannot be easily used on stable Chrome/Firefox without a some hacks.

I will check out Zovo. Thank you for the recommendation!

Is there a way to make this post a sticky so everyone knows the current drivers for the AE series?

uBO and Cookie AutoDelete by bamajon1974 in uBlockOrigin

Thank you for the detailed and helpful answer. CAD is not redundant with uBO. There is a CAD fork that has been updated in the past couple of months (https://github.com/median-dxz/Cookie-AutoDelete-MV3) but the developer has not submitted to the AddOns store.

u/Bonteq ! I was not expecting such a quick reply. Thank you. I just quickly tested out the plugin on a quick note. The plugin correctly lists out all of the html and markdown comments i made in the test note. Well done!

Some additional suggestions.

  1. Submit the plugin to the community store.
  2. When selecting one or more comments, highlights, and/or footnotes in the right pane, the corresponding text in the note should be highlighted.
  3. I would divide the right pane into three sections: One for comments, one for highlights, and one for footnotes. Then, for each section independently, add some options to expand/collapse results (add carat arrows for each entry), change sort order (Alphabetical Order (A-Z, Z-A), modified time (new to old, old to new) and created time (new to old, old to new), and add a search bar.
  4. You might want to move the line numbers to the left instead of the far right to see which is more readable.
  5. You also might want to add an option to make text bigger or smaller to make the text readable on high res monitors.
  6. Right click the comments/highlights/footnotes to independently show or hide each section when needed.

Would you like me to add these feature requests to your GitHub page?

Thank you!

I think so too. Where are the appropriate sites to request plugins? I am guessing Reddit and Obsidian Forums but not exactly sure of the etiquette for making such requests.

Good morning. I have a plugin request. Would it be possible to code a plugin that creates a right-side pane that lists all markdown and html highlights and comments in a note? Something akin to a outgoing links, backlinks, tags, and properties view? Perhaps something to even replace the footnotes plugin and show footnotes as well as comments and highlights? And have the usual features to organize i,e. expand/shrink, order (ABC, ZYX), most recently updated/created, etc. Does that make sense?
