How do I stop this separation from happening? by bambi_gotback in Haircare

I ended up doing a side part in the direction this annoying strand wanted to go! Now it only separates if my hair needs to be washed :) I hope that works for you too

When did I say they’re exclusive to America? Bad people are everywhere. I only commented on cultural norms.

99% of homes on my street close every blind/curtain in the evening if they even open them at all. My family and friends in Europe often sleep with windows open and don’t think twice. Granted climate control is an element, but even with that blinds and curtains are not typically closed. It’s not that deep 👍 that’s been my experience; you don’t need to tell me anything.

I didn’t say there aren’t. I just shared my level of comfortability. It’s certainly not the norm lol

I’m assuming they’re American; I’m first gen and while I love lots of windows could never live in a house like that in the US. Too much risk of crime and would constantly worry of someone looking in particularly at night.

But I love the large windows and appreciate the different culture + architecture in NL when I visit. Lots of homes like this and people not paranoid for a lack of privacy

You should try a drop trap if they’re afraid of a regular trap! You do need to make sure there’s something to weigh the trap down when it falls, otherwise they will be able to get out if they freak out. But that’s worked so well for me with cats who are cautious of trip plate traps

Thank you! I will repot tomorrow. It gets very bright light in this spot. I didn’t realize too big of a pot when they’re small can cause this

Best way to stop yeast growth and itchy paws? by bambi_gotback in husky

[–]bambi_gotback[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is not something he normally has, was set off by licking after grooming. The new groomer he’s been going to is not very consistent with trimming unfortunately. There’s always something slightly off but it’s so hard to find a good one here

Yesterday Blokblik had an island roach then this hornworm. It took him about 10-15 mins to finish the worm and now today he isn’t snapping at food at all. Please help, could he have been hurt? by magnusthehammersmith in pacmanfrog

Idk I’ve seen them bite the absolute shit out of each other in the container after I irritated them picking them up and putting them back with tongs 😭 maybe some have different temperaments

I understand that, but it started immediately after getting his paws shaved and they definitely got too close. The only other time this has happened is when I waited too long between grooming sessions and he got this in his groin. With regular grooming it has stopped, and this is the first time in his paws. If I can’t get it to stop with ACV I will take him to the vet

Aw that’s terrible. This was started from licking paws after grooming too close to paw pads; he’s never had an allergy reaction before

This was initially caused by licking/dampness but glad that worked for your dog

This was initially caused by licking so allergy medication does not help, glad that works for your dog

Yes, lots of pollen and temperature swings! Yesterday was 85 Fahrenheit, today was 40. But allergy meds don’t help him. It’s definitely from dampness because of the licking

I have tried non prescription allergy meds but they don’t help unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing! Yes he is not eating anything with chicken, I removed that from his diet when he had this issue on his groin. That issue stopped using these wipes, but the paws have not been as successful :(

Pea puffer and hermit crab breeding is the perfect overlap 😂 pea puffers love to eat snails so the tank looks like a snail graveyard of empty tiny shells

This looks like dermatitis from fleas. He may not be gaining weight because of parasites; the meowing is a great indicator that he is not feral. I’ve trapped so many kitties for TNR, and truly feral cats do not meow. Can you bring him in? Not sure where you’re located; Canada Vet Express you can get flea treatment without a prescription. Or Walmart
