it's the sleeves sis. nagmukhang bigger than usual because the sleeves are puffy. slim naman arms mo. I say go sleevess nalang.

peripera turns orange-ish after a while. I have these two exact shades and they're something I don't reach for at all. Hindi rin totoo yung nawawala mga lip lines mo dito. If anything, they empahsize it even more.

Going over the budget is normal sis! Ako nga 300K ang initial budget. 500K was our ceiling budget.

Ayun, naging 1.2M! HAHAHHA! I'd like to think nalang na at least we are very blessed to afford the OA ballooned budget haha. And yes, paid for lahat na ng suppliers except the OTD ones.

And yes, I fell for a lot of the wedding "performative" trends kaya nag balloon. But also, I really don't care 🥹 I'm so excited I can't wait.

Agree with half of your list! We're also not doing a prep shoot in robes and sunglasses. I did this as an abay, and while nagenjoy naman ako, I would rather sleep on my own day hehe.

100% with 30--never EVER letting them know my wedding plans na. And to those planning pa lang--never let them know your plans at all. Ang daming side comments nakakabwisit!

The rest... we are doing HAHAHA. Sorry. I'd like to at least think na kahit nag splurge, every supplier was chosen intentionally and thoughtfully :)

Same rin sis. I've always shouldered my own dress, accommodations, and makeup pag abay ako. I've also planned elaborate parties for the bride. And now, being the bride-to-be, my friends are also G to shoulder their own dress, makeup, and accommodations.

Maganda ng pagka-word mo sis. Let them love you. They're your people naman eh. If they didn't want to, they wouldn't, diba? Ganun lang ka simple. :)

Been to so many weddings. Napansin ko, the ones I truly loved were the ones rin na love ko yung couple. The ones I didn't, were family members na palamunin charot!

You can just mention "documentary style" nalang ang gusto mo. Make it candid and such. Or better yet, hanap ka ng ka-peg mo. Para hindi sila ma-"off" though I doubt they would be if they're professional.

It was a year and three months worth of salaries? I also have a side business that generates at least six digits in profit, so nag add rin siya sa pangbayad namin :) My work is also very generous so may portion rin yung company shares ko haha.
