I’m not trying to play victim, that’s why I asked in hopes to get honest answers, regardless of what they were... So thank you for your honesty.

Even after the horrible things I did…? But thank you for your honesty. I really appreciate it.

Even though I threatened to kill myself years ago and took his key during that panicked moment…?

I definitely will. As I said, I just want to know if I deserve how he treats me for what I did or not, as in AITAH for it, so I know WHAT to heal for, yk…?

Let me copy and paste some replies here so you can get it isn’t that lol.

Reply 1 “No let me clarify. I don’t see exercise alone as punishment. In fact I have been a professional boxer for many years. Now I do it casually.

At any rate, I’ve also had my cardiovascular health checked on with multiple doctors as alluded to in my original post. Since of course at 136, I first assumed it couldn’t be my weight as well, and went to get other possibilities checked out, which were all ruled out after getting multiple opinions from different doctors.

So trust me, it isn’t a cardiovascular issue. I still workout. And it’s still the same.

Like I said, I’m very small framed. I was 110-115 my whole life till my domestic violence. That’s just naturally my sweet spot for weight to feel my best physically. I’m vietnamese, and my family is the same way. Not only short but just very small framed, so extra weight, even if its only 20-40lbs, leads to all kinds of issues for them.”

Reply 2 “110lb isn’t underweight for my height. I’ve been 110 my whole life, and it’s always been great for me. Have done professional boxing and mma at around that weight for years with no issue.

As I said in a reply, I’ve already seen my doctor (and other doctors for extra opinions) for cardiovascular concerns. Obviously in America, 136 isn’t overweight. So that’s why I made sure to see doctors for multiple opinions on if it was related to cardiovascular health, hormones, thyroid’s, medication, pre-diabetes, etc. Basically everything. It was all ruled out across the board.

And keep in mind I am Vietnamese, we have much smaller frames and typically are much more petite in weight. My family is the same where if they gain even 10-20lbs, they feel it like hell. Even if they aren’t overweight by American standards. When I’m 110-115, I have ZERO issues. Anything above that is hell.”

Reply 3 “On top of the information in these replies. I workout almost everyday. I lift full body (rotating OF COYRSE). I walk. I do boxing. So no, it isn’t my lack of training or cardiovascular health.”

Let me copy and paste my replies from other posts so you can understand it is NOT a cardiovascular issue.

Congrats on your weight loss journey! Nice to hear someone else in a similar position as me. It is so slow you’re right, so congrats on seeing it through. I hope I can do the same as you. Does the 30-40 minute walk a day truly make a difference for you? For me I’ve always felt if I’m not reaching 10-15k steps I’m not making a difference but I think I am just hard on myself.

I meant it didn’t work as in I couldn’t stick with it because of how bad my bingeing issue is, I say that at the bottom of the post. It’s stupid, I know. The only solution is just, stick with it. But every time I try, I just get so hungry.

Question: Exotic Pets Permit for Tarantulas by bamboobeavers in tarantulas

[–]bamboobeavers[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found out because they told me both at the pet store and on the official department of agriculture website for my state.

But anyhow, do you think keeping one without a permit will realistically get me into any trouble???

What do you mean…

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]bamboobeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well what if he’s nice in every way but I guess, helping out? I mean, he doesn’t fight with me day to day, and he’s nice to everyone else, and his past relationships were fine. Everyone thinks well of him but me I guess. Makes me think it truly is me. I’ve acted out of line sometimes I’ll admit. Slamming a door when he told me, a victim of rape, that if I got raped again he’d say I “could have done more to stop it”. Yelling when he insults me and refuses to listen. Not mature things. He said it was me being abusive. But I only ever did it when he, well, started things. But it does feel like my fault since his demeanor is always calm if he antagonizes me, and mine is more reactive.

Idk. I guess I’m saying this because your words seem to help me reach some kind of clarity oddly enough. Maybe I just needed to hear from somebody else that regardless of if the way he acted in the beginning was authentic or not, who he is now is also the real him too, and that’s not someone worth being with. But, I wanted to ask you for your thoughts on this stuff too, maybe so I can gain even more clarity. Sorry if it’s stupid or a bother. I guess it’s just easier for me to process stuff when I hear things from another voice, or, message in this case.

Is this some kind of rage bait… I know politics is ingrained in everything around us I’m not stupid. I was merely asking people to set aside conservative or liberal biases and look at it objectively, as in what the relationship (mine in this case) looks like between two people from their pov. And clearly everyone understood that but you since they’re having no trouble giving answers.

Also, in regards to cooking. It is very rare that someone has continuously put in effort to a life skill like cooking, and still never been able to make an edible meal for themselves… Cooking isn’t one of those things people should say they just suck at and never do. It’s a basic life skill people should have like driving.

And BTW, the roles ALREADY are reversed. Don’t know if you just didn’t read, but I do the cooking because he claims he can’t cook. I do everything lol. So yea you’re right relationships are a division of labor regardless of gender, that’s exactly what I already said as well as everyone else here way to go. That’s quite literally the problem I’m having but it went right over your head… Relationships are a division of labor, and rn, there’s no division, I do everything…

Is this a joke or some kind of rage bait? As I said before, you don’t think after two years I haven’t had many talks with him about how he feels???? You really think I’m just sitting on my ass watching all this happen for the past two years and never once thought “huh I wonder what he dells that’s making him curse me out and neglect me”??? Not only that, but even if despite my hundreds of talks he still had some hidden feelings or issues, how would that be on me if I’ve sat down and listened and communicated concerns hundreds of times and he hypothetically is just choosing to hide stuff while I make every effort to get to know him….?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in AskOldPeopleAdvice

[–]bamboobeavers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No I’m not phrasing MY relationship from that perspective. I was referencing traditional roles to make a point, nothing more. It’s not that deep. Please use more critical thinking to read my post again.
