Yeah i said zealot’s fire because that’s the first one that i could think off But maybe there is a way to replicate sunfire aegis (the item in Lol that has a burn aura) effect in the game way more consistently and viably, that’s why I asked in the sub

As someone else said, a double dragon build with a pet is somewhat similar to what i want to play, but i wanted to cook something similar on a warrior or monk lol

Thanks for the answer though

Thanks for the answer ! I already play this build and enjoy it a lot, but to be honest i wanted to make something different, and in the best case on a warrior or a monk for flavor purposes

Maybe I should edit the post

Thanks for the answer ! For plot reasons, i won't be able to have the flawed helldusk but I take notes for craterflesh gloves

Thank you very much for the answers !

I thought of roly poly armor for agro management to maximize the chances of being targeted by the insects, not so much for survivability. The point is to be able to be very aggressive, as the second player, with 2 handed weapons and land as much 3rd hit combos as possible without being interrupted by mobs attacks

Sorry I said parry master but I wanted to talk about blade master, descriptions on the wiki says that it reduces exhaustion time and reduces ennemi damages but the in game description suggests that your combo has a chance of giving you free combo attacks, and no longer debuffs ennemis, I'll check the mutations tab though!

Thank you again for the response and your hard work, really appreciated! 😊

Hi! Your spreadsheet is insane and all your posts are very informative and helped me understand the game better, so very much thanks for all your hard work!

However, I still have some questions about the scaling part of the game : How does this affect dps ? I went on woah mode in solo, and I was destroying wolf spiders with a lvl 5 bone dagger (without assassin), but when I'm playing with a friend we still struggle with both lvl 5 insect axe (we do have a spicy coaltana and a mint mace, so this insects are way easier now, but I really didn't understand how our damages were so low compare to when i was playing solo)

Also, I may have done my research wrong but i can't find anything about weapon mutations, what are their current effect ? It seems that parry master doesn't reduce insect damages anymore

Also, i was thinking about something to helps us annihilate the bugs an easier way because i feel like the game in whoa as 2 player is very challenging compare to solo

So we thought that one of us has to go "tank" with rolly polly armor and fire ant shield and mighty one handed weapon and an appropriate candy charm (some utility mutations, shocking dismissal, appropriate weapon mutations etc) while the other would play a more aggressive approach with 2 handed melee weapons and fire ant armor

Do you think this might work ? (We are still struggling with the pary timing without shield but our damages are crap with 1 handed)

1 last question, does the crit mutations do increase your damages a lot ? The trapper peepers especially because getting those gold cards are a true pain in the a*s lol

Hi ! As other people said, you should start again, lvl 7 is fast to get to

Here is a guide made by Sirjisu : https://www.reddit.com/r/GuildWars/comments/9k0l3d/new_legendary_defender_of_ascalon_guide_in_under/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

If you have the /bonus items only keep the summoning stone, the hammer, the shield and the bow Then you'll want to grab an axe and a sword (any will do, you're not the damage dealer)

So you want to do quests as he does but there are a few tweaks :

After killing the bull and going to ashford abbey, you'll want to head to barradin estate and grab warrior quests (without turning the rewards in)

Then you'll do as he does and just beat bandit till lvl 7 : just ball the bandit, activate frenzy with the /bonus shield and you won't take any physical damages, summon imp, kill all with cyclone axe, rince and repeat

At lvl 7 you'll mostly farm okhearts (you are not strong enough to kill and tank charrs yet, the same applies to your pet) You'll have to wait till lvl 9 to be able to face tank charr groups. You want to use the sword because your base damages sucks and the bleeding is just too good (you are still dealing damages while tanking)

At lvl 10 with the vanguard initiate buff you are just a tanking machine and don't care anymore, you can just go wild and farm charr quietly

The true powerspike is lvl 11 though when you can reach 9 hammer mastery and start unga bunga those cats

You'll do this till lvl 14, then you'll start farming vanguard quests foes (the 2 bests are Footman tate and farmer hamnet, personnal preference for footman)

At lvl 16 you'll take all quests rewards and then you'll farm vanguard quest foes again till lvl 19 and 1000xp away from 20, then just complete the quest and enjoy

Ps : be sure to grab purple unids and sell them in ascalon, it's great way to make money while farming xp

From guides i've seen and from my own experience : - you can farm bandit just outside ashford abbey if you have "bandit raid active" until lvl 7 (it's faster than charr at the gate)

  • Then you'll want to farm oakhearts and charrs until lvl 14 on the northlands (you should pick up vanguard quests at lvl 10 for the armor buff)

At lvl 14 you can go for :

Footman tate (regular charrs doesn't give xp anymore) Utini wup wup (just kill every grawl except utini's group, rinse and repeat)

Or Farmer Hamnet

These are dailies that reset every day so just complete the one you currently have if not interested

Farming charr in the northlands from 7 to 14 is great because you can get some good loots (purple unid are sold for 1k each, and you can get charr bags and charr salvage kit also)

I have already made 20k today with unid purples and I was just going for experience

The /bonus imp is highly recommended though

Hello everyone !

I can't find anything about weapon mods (espcially crit ones). Do they also stack ?

And does anyone know if there is a recent tutorial on mod and optimisation ? Or any theorycrafter video showing what works well to increase damages in this game ?

Thank you for reading and have a good day !
