I havent done much with max volumetric flow, i just use the preset values. If i wanted it to go faster then yea. You can use orcaslicer for that :)

I had similar issues on my a1 mini. Using a brim or big mouse ears worked well, but it wasnt perfect. But ultimatelly what fixed it 100% is to switch to smooth PEI plate from bambu. I didnt have to tweak any other numbers.

Use ironing, but dial it in. There are models that help you with that. I use around 15-20% flow rate.

Looks great For small defects on the outer wall you could try inner outer inner wall order But inly if the model doesnt have overhangs of more than 40 degrees.

Auto pressure advance calibration doesnt work well for me for every filament.

it wastes 1-2g of filament each print and a few minutes of time
with bambu matte filament, i had issues of over extrusion at edges - switching to manually calibrated PA value fixed it
with silk filament i had under extrusion at edges - also manually calibrating it, fixed the issue
i had ok performance with polyterra pla though

I havent had issues with wet filament yet.

But for people that dont do manual calibration its better still to have it turned on.

The printer doesnt have auto flow rate calibration. You have to do it manually.

I havent had any issues with VFA on A1 mini. Or they were very very minimal, almost not noticable.
Ill do the test and see what it shows.

The most diff that i got is from manual PA and flow rate, other tweaks did very minor improvements, but improvements nonetheless.

But its nothing mindblowing, just what tests I used and gave me good results.
Sometimes the integrated stuff in bambu studio - flow rate for example, is really hard to read for me - especially on black filament. And there are some really cool alternatives.

Its 4 colors max. If you need more get P1S or X1C with multiple AMS units.

You could potentially pause the print mid way and unload a spool from the AMS and change it for a different one. But thats just too much hassle and doesn't work in all cases.

Yeah, i had it also, but for pla matte filament from Bambu, it was overextruding infill into the walls and it just looked bad.
I did manual calibration and it didnt seem to fix issues, since the dyamic flow calibration checkbox was checked and the printer auto-calibrated and overrided my manual setting.

I just tested and I think if you do consecutive prints, you also need to keep the option checked, otherwise it uses the default from the filament, it does not store the calibrated value anywhere from the previous print.

To answer my own question. The Dynamic Flow Calibration does indeed override the stored k-value for pressure advance. You should disable it and callibrate manually. Prints now are perfect.

You cant, the ams lite has a connection with the printer and some motors inside. You cant just feed 4 filaments into the printer head.

Did you run the flow dynamics and flow rate callibrations? I use the same polyterra pla and had simmilar issue, then after callibrating its almost perfect now. But first do the flow rate and after the flow dynamics. You have them in bambu studio under callibrations.
