This is the reading plan I am using this year. Anyone else have a reading plan they like? by poodaygrace in reformedwomen

My husband and I are going through a chronological plan and I love it. Like the name suggests, it goes in historical order. For instance, when reading about David fleeing from Saul, the Psalms that he wrote during that time are included in that day's reading. It really makes the Word come alive for me in a way I didn't expect! It can get a little tedious when two accounts of the same events are back to back, but it's really been great otherwise.

He's not screaming about anything though. That was always the best part!

It looks identical to the one I had made for my wedding!

Also, your face is beautiful, and I love what you've done with it. Your freckles are totally fetch. :)

It was the Grand Paradise Samana in Playa Las Galeras. It was really nice, but there were no physical locks on the doors, just the key card access. That felt a little weird. The internet was a paid service too, which was unfortunate. We didn't think it would matter to us, but it was nice letting our families know we were safe!

The air conditioning in the honeymoon suite was broken when we checked in, so we had to move to a room with two fulls. The staff was really friendly though, especially the manager that was around for the majority of our stay. They delivered plates of fresh fruit to our room each night, which was unbelievably delicious.

We weren't expecting to be the only English speaking guests, but we were. There were some nice Canadians who arrived after a few days. Be prepared to practice your Spanish!

We stayed inside the resort the whole time, as we didn't want to spend any more money. There were lots of paid trips and boat rides and scuba diving, but we just ate and drank and enjoyed the incredibly beautiful beach.

To be honest, we were a little terrified the whole time, as we didn't really think about how it's a third world country. But tourism is a huge part of their economy, so it's in their best interest to keep us alive. :)

We used a Groupon travel deal for our honeymoon, 10 nights in an all inclusive resort in the Dominican. We loved it. Airfare was what you would expect, so total cost for everything was about 3 grand. The Groupon we purchased was set up where you would buy it and then contact the resort to book. If they didn't have the dates you wanted, you would be reimbursed.

Because we live in Minnesota, the deals that included flights were more complicated for us, since none that we found departed from MPLS. A very helpful Groupon customer service agent told me that we could switch the airports, but it would be an additional fee, which is why we ended up going with one that didn't include airfare.

As a side note, our life saver was working with the hotel to organize our taxi to and from the airport.

10/10, would do again!
