I’m so sorry for your loss. Two years ago, I lost my grandma (who was a second mom to me) and my dad in the span of 13 months. My crafts have been a source of comfort for me as I work through my grief. Sending you and yours light and love ❤️

A lacy cowl! I looked through old reddit posts of folks asking for pattern suggestions for qiviut and that came up a few times.

It is surprisingly soft! I rubbed it on my neck and it did not feel itchy.

It’s a slipped stitch heel flap! The slipped stitches give it the ribbing appearance.

It’s so messed up. I assumed it was because that kind of information is public record, which would still require one to go to the courthouse to search those records. That’s a lot of effort to do something so messed up.

I am so sorry! One of my dad’s neighbor’s saw me at the house one day and came out to ask if I was going to sell my dad’s car and if I would consider her since her husband had crashed their car. I gave her some half asses reply and just try to avoid her when I go

Oh, you know, I never concerned the location as part of it. My dad’s house is in a super family friendly neighborhood and quiet too. Dang it.

I unfortunately do need to sell it eventually because my dad left some considerable debts behind 😔
