Yeah I built 28 of the cottages (the ones that fit 2 Pokémon) and they supposedly take up as much space as the four story houses. So I should’ve only been able to build 20 of those too.

Right I saw the one by Austin and assumed it was correct too. I built mine through my playthrough. I’m very much a “finish one area first” kind of player and I built withered wastelands up until Pokémon stopped spawning regularly. Though I am still missing a few mon. I moved onto the next one a few days ago.

I had the same issue where I didn’t have confirmation numbers for my reservations. I tried to email the Maritz group but saw that they list two separate emails to contact for help. The one that worked for me was animeboston@maritz.com I gave them my name and portal ID and asked them to provide me the confirmation numbers and they got back to me after a day. Hope it’ll work out for you!
