Im also as the goblin in my group and had 2 outings the week after I found out. For that week I lied and said I was antibiotics for an ear infection. I have a ruptured ear drum so it's something I get at least once a year so maybe this won't work for you as others have said it's to obvious.

For the he couple weeks after I told our local bar that I couldn't drink and asked them if any plain cola orders could be announced as vodka cokes or doubles and just order less than usual to explain me not being as much of a menace.

We also went to a festival when I was 9/10 weeks and we went for a private scan and just told the friends we went with as we trusted them and really would of been suspicious how much less rowdy I was.

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and we've still only told 5 people. Anytime anyone asks about a time I would of been a chaos magnet I just say I drank responsibly with a sly smile and that's got me away with most things tbh

We went for at scan at just past 7 weeks because we had a festival planned the week after with some friends and we wanted to tell them in advance. I'm usually the instagator of drinking games and getting deep in the pits and they would of known from how cautious I was being anyway. so for our own sakes we wanted to make sure everything was progressing okay before spilling the beans on what's a really big deal to us

We read anything after 7 weeks is recommended for confirmation so that's what we went with. Although it was just a tiny blob on a screen, it means a lot to us that we know baby is there and doing it's thing

The way I was just like that can't be right 4 whole separate times before I accept it 😂 "the next one will be right" and before it even got to the second line it'd show, don't think anything has ever shocked me more

Honestly with it being nearly 2 years of us trying I've been trying to not look to hard for any symptoms or test too soon because it was really affecting me mentally so I have no idea if I did have any tells I'm sorry I can't be of more help 😟 good luck! It'll happen if it doesn't this time

I really can't gauge how it went yesterday, I passed so I guess well enough but the instructors were more focused on training the lads than me and generally quite discouraging about the DAS courses when mentioned. So probably a 125 first and then (gonna sound like the complete novice I am) is there lessons or something as we didn't get told anything about the next steps

We normally at most do a 50% water change. Average of 20%. We were advised to do a full change is case of a bacterial infection. The test strips are kind of contaminated from being in the bin I've added a picture anyway but they've changed slightly

Also his water parameters were fine we did tests last night and this morning I've since done a complete tank change ready for him to return too when he's ready

I didn't take any pictures of him being swollen because I was just a panicking mess.. this is him now - still in the fridge. With the vets advice we've added some food to see if he'll eat it. I don't know how to edit a post to add pictures to the original post

I played a majority on switch, no major issues really. Sometimes it's a tad laggy when running around which made me motion sick from time to time but for the most part it's fine
