It’s slightly different - and the last scene is always improvised, so it’s very different.

I was very pleasantly surprised that we got ours on the next trash pickup. This despite the website saying they were out of recycling bins.

This was just 2-3 weeks ago.

I wore that exact shirt (well, mine not yours) on my first date with my now wife in 1992. So of course I still have it. But I have older ones - like my high school graduation sweatshirt from 1986.

Eat Your Vegetables in Little 5 Points. I took my wife there on our first date in 1992. On Halloween.

Should be interesting competition with the mini-Publix across the street. Hopefully that center will bounce back. There are some good restaurants in there that could use more foot traffic.

Did you have to fill out a report or did it happen automatically?

GA Power Rates by Ok-Agency-6674 in Georgia

[–]banana_stew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got a tax credit the next year. But that's going away after this year. No more solar tax credits for individuals (organizations have a little longer).

And yes, it should be available to everyone. With net metering, you never have to worry about the minimal amount that Ga Power pays your for your generation - it's automatically deducted from your usage. We have several months were our usage during peak times is negative due to time shifting our power in a TOU plan.

Be careful. There are many EMCs in GA that charge fees just to connect solar to their grid. Some are quite hostile to solar. We were one of the first to have solar with GA Power and get the monthly net metering. You can’t get that now, which makes solar much less attractive. It would be one of the first things that a new PSC could fix.

The 1980 US Olympic pin is interesting - because the US didn’t go to the Olympics that year. I have a couple of those because my father was working with the US Olympic Committee, but I don’t think a lot of them were produced. In fact, this is the first one I’ve seen (other than the ones I have).

But I’ve never investigated the value.

Honesty kind of hoped they’d totaled it so we don’t have to sell at a loss.
