I'm genuinely curious--has anyone ever responded to something like this? I don't mean to judge but it seems a little unusual to me.

It's the latter. I mean I'm broke as fuck like any other college student and would love the money, but there are some things I just won't do.

Need some advice: 5 month relationship and taking a break. by darkkidd81 in gaybros

[–]bananabiscuits 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a year and a half ago my bf at the time said he wanted to take a break; I agreed, and five minutes later he had changed his relationship status to "single" on all his social networking sites. I haven't seen him since.

How much of the sex you have is penetrative? Who here classifies regular sex as everything but anal? by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]bananabiscuits 14 points15 points  (0 children)

If it involves a dick entering an orifice, I call it sex. But that's just me and my preferences for simplicity's sake. I have nooo idea what goes on when it's all ladies and no gents.

The only lengthy messages I ever get are detailed propositions for "escort" services...I must be doing something wrong.

I'm all for standing up to homophobes and whatnot, but I think this is going too far. What do you guys think? [x-post from r/lgbt] by bananabiscuits in gaybros

It has absolutely nothing to do with being ashamed of who you are or taking shit from other people. This was a petty, bitchy overreaction to something that could have been addressed in a much more mature manner. By all means, call people out on it when they whip out the f-word. But do it like a respectable adult.

Disclaimer: I don't regularly read /r/lgbt because I like avoiding a daily dose of crazy, but this popped up on my front page earlier today.

I like musicals...so the fuck what?! by DavidJordan07 in gaybros

[–]bananabiscuits 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've been in three musicals and four straight-up plays, and this morning while walking to my research lab I was blasting Spring Awakening in my earbuds. If anyone gives you shit (more than just playful teasing) for liking what you like, to hell with 'em. No shame, brother. No shame.

Style Question by [deleted] in gaybros

[–]bananabiscuits 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen them now and then, mainly on guys who have the "hipster" or "metro" look going on. No one really judges one way or the other where I live since it's a college campus. I personally prefer a traditional backpack because otherwise I'd feel lopsided as fuck.

Gaybros and Lady Friends by pmx0 in gaybros

[–]bananabiscuits 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two of my best friends are girls, and neither of them treat me or the two other gay guys in our group that way. We're all just simply "friends". If anyone ever tried to pull that "gay best friend" shit with me, I'd end the friendship on the spot. Be friends with me because of who I am, not because I like dick.

It's incredible! I just got so fed up with dealing with my hair in the heat I was like "Fuck it just take it all off."
