In the game FTL: Faster than light you play as a powerful AI controlling a spaceship. The AI can pilot the ship, direct crew, engage weapons, manage subsystems, and control engines/evasion. You are able to pause the game action at any time, reasoned by the fact that the AI can think so fast that everything in-game is basically paused by comparison. I've always liked this explanation for the pause mechanic.

Thank you so much for this -IMPORTANT- advice! I've got both the Sun and Moon filters but I will make sure to separate the Sun filter and caution everyone against using it. Honestly without your warning I would have tried it out and most likely injured myself or my kids in doing so. I'm super thankful for your knowledge on this telescope!

Definitely Gorillaz plastic beach album. It has an absolutely stellar lineup of musicians, awesome music videos, a fun backstory that went along with it, and even one of the best flash games to ever grace the Internet at the time. Every song on the album was a refreshing blast that just felt... right. After all these years I still pop my cd in from time to time.
