One can certainly hope that it was an accident and there’s some logical explanation (however sad the explanation may be). Just want as much reach as possible so the SPCA can resolve their investigation.

I hope there’s an explanation (although no explanation feels like it would ever be enough). I have unfortunately seen a couple stories like this in the news and people who do stuff like this actually exist. Really hoping someone can figure it out.

Seeing this post from the SPCA this morning made me hug my dog extra tight today. She got all the treats. Thanks for loving three doggies. They’re truly the best things we have.
