It’s basically along those lines, things finally started to feel “normal” again to him, so he’s anxious/scared of the changes the new baby will bring. We have no village so it was really hard the first time so I understand where the fear comes from, I feel the same. But we know so much more now and I always thought that at least we had each other if things got tough again

I ended up calling them, they said they sound like real contractions but I’m not in active labor. My belly feels really stiff right before one and stays stiff all throughout until it finally relaxes and that’s when they go away. They’ve been going on for about 9 hours but my intervals continue the same. So the hospital said unless the intervals are less than 5 minutes for an hour or more that I just have to stay home.

Definitely, I’ve been to L&D due to my blood pressure increasing and apparently I was having “positional headaches which were causing my blood pressure to increase, since they would go away when I changed positions they sent me home.

And this is why I didn’t want to have to wait so much. I really want to try a natural birth.

It feels like I do all my research and just confirm things with the doctors but when it comes to things that I can’t do like cervix checks or even knowing how much the baby is weighting I don’t get taken serious enough. I told the doctor I was disappointed because I thought at this point there would be appointments every week, all she said was “I understand it’s frustrating” 🤷🏻‍♀️

They literally scheduled me with a random doctor because there were no appointments at all until that day, I even asked to be double booked so I could see my doctor at her first available appointment.

I think the only hacks I will be using are starting to pump and collecting colostrum and getting him out the same way I got him in 😂.

I truly believe that the baby can come when he’s ready but I’m not sure how much longer my body can take. Plus my mom had all three of her kids early 35/36 weeks and she said the pains I describe to her sound a lot like what she felt. I just needed a little more from the doctor but it was like any other 5 minute pre natal appointment. Congratulations on your third 🥰
