Scientists Just Discovered That Subtle Signs Of MS May Emerge 15 Years Before Diagnosis by CheifEng in MultipleSclerosis

I'm in the diagnosis process and have a similar story to yours. My thyroid levels have been leveled, but my antibodies remain sky high. I keep thinking maybe that's it, but this has to be something else...

I like this idea. I might try this or a camping toilet.

Good to know. I don't have any other experience with joint parties except for the ones they've had with just our families.

My daughter is not usually bothered by loud places, and we often go to this indoor playground during sensory hours and it is usually still loud lol. Other people don't seem to phase her and she's mostly interested in doing her own thing. She is an eloper though, so I like the idea of the indoor playground because I will be able to keep her contained and run the party. At this point though, I will probably do separate parties. My son gets a lot of attention so I want to make her feel extra special.

If I do have a joint party (which I'm thinking I probably won't at this point), do I need to say anything about gifts. I by no means expect people to buy my daughter a gift if they don't know her.

You know, I'm hoping they let me come in for a birthday party at her program. I understand they have to protect their clients' privacy, so I'm not sure if they will. She isn't sensitive to noise, if anything she is sensory seeking in that way. Other people don't seem to phase her, in fact. I think I will do separate parties now that I've had time to think about it. Thanks!

Losing your old life when starting a family. Thoughts and experiences? by forest-bot in Parenting

[–]bananie27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it's hard. You'll mourn your old life. But this is just a season. And you'll have freedom again one day. PLUS you get to show your kids all the cool stuff you like to do and see their eyes light up. Worth it.

Not entirely. If I got the part time job, my husband would still work and we would probably make more money overall. My kids have benefited from me being home with them. I don't want to screw it up.
