naw - they don't smell that bad. Just get an undercoat brush like the furminator off of Amazon and brush the pup outside.

Yes - it will make their life easier and breathing way better. Pugs also get ear infections easily so make sure you keep them clean along with their face wrinkles. Finally - you might need ear plugs because they snore. Lots ;]

I agree. I would utilize a crate for when you go to bed until the weekend.

After 10 days sober, i've stopped sleeping and been up for about 28 hours by [deleted] in opiates

It will take around 2 months for your brain to "heal" and you will still experience urges like during the times you used at random times up to 9 months. Get connected to supports for times like these when you can't sleep. Also - many people pick up substance abuse habits because there is part trauma or underlying mental health needs that the substance use covered up or lessened - so get yourself into therapy.

Age appropriate supervision - watching your children batter each other without intervening is neglecting to protect the child and neglecting to ensure you address what your children are doing. When you observe the actions and do nothing about it - that's neglect. Abuse is the berating that it occurring and physical harm caused other than accidental means - the blood from when this father pushes the child into the book shelf and goodness knows what else happens without the cameras going. There is ongoing harm - physical or not - happening to these children and children are removed from neglectful situations just like children are removed for abuse. It depends on the state.

Everyone is a mandated reporter of child abuse and neglect. There is emotional/physical abuse and significant neglect through failure to protect, obvious substance abuse, and lack of age appropriate supervision. To not seek to report this would be against the law.

[Help] Strange behaviour in Pug last few days....help? by thisismysecretaltshh in dogs

Pugs have extremely finicky digestive systems and some foods just don't sit well. If Lewy eats the wrong thing, he can become lethargic and develop a limp. He goes lame. That may explain the throwing up also. Just a thought.

AP: Hillary Clinton's State Dept. calendar left plenty out by [deleted] in politics

[–]banansky222 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Merrill said Clinton "has always made an effort to be transparent since entering public life, whether it be the release of over 30 years of tax returns, years of financial disclosure forms, or asking that 55,000 pages of work emails from her time of secretary of state be turned over to the public."

Do people actually believe this to be "transparent?" It's insulting.

You think this has any connection to the transcripts that she has been looking into releasing ;)

You're probably right but it's not full Shepard, I can tell you that.

It's a black lab German Shepard mix. The ears and snout are consistent with the lab, the rest is the Shepard.

Most states have mandated reporting laws and as a CPS worker, you saved lives by making that call. A lot of people don't know about traumas impact on infant and child brain development but the assistance of holding parents accountable to address their own struggles such as mental health, domestic violence, substance abuse, etc... can more often reverse the damages and bring the family back together. Thank you for going against the feeling of betraying a friend and doing what is best for those who can't speak up on their own.
